Takes impact well enough.
Got rid of the wallet style case. Looked at reviews and opted for this. Looks good and feels great to hold. Used the kick stand few times works really well. I got a glass screen protector to add to its protection although you have to pay attention and be gentle so the case doesn't lift protector, it did with mine only once but that was mh error. I dropped my phone it landed on its side. No damage at all. Definitely recommend it.

Worse case I've ever had
Screen cracked within a week of having this case. The stand broke on my old case so decided to get this one. Dropped it early and the case is now cracked. Chucking this in the bin
