Didn't hemorrhage this time around
I hemorrhaged with my previous 2 births so with this last one I decided to try and do some research and while a hemorrhage is not necessarily preventable I found this and it says it tones the uterus which usually a hemorrhage is caused from weak uterine muscles. So I started drinking one cup a day around 36 or 37 weeks. I mixed it with pineapple juice and it was super yummy. I got induced at 39 weeks and did NOT hemorrhage, thank God first and foremost but I do believe this tea had something to do with it also. I would definitely recommend this for labor prep, it does wonders for your body, and very affordable. Good luck and God Bless you mamas!

Hope it works
Taste is something to get used to, but smells great and with some honey and/or sugar it’s really good. Hope it works!

Doesn’t not work
I started taking this tea at about 34/35 weeks pregnant with my 1st child with the intention of starting it in the last month of pregnancy as I feared too early could cause a preterm birth. After reading the reviews I decided unsweetened was the way to go. The taste is pretty good and seems to be high quality tea… all the bags were it tack and the leaves do not bleed when met with hot water but require actual steeping.Right around the time I started the tea I got shooting pains in my groin and didn’t correlate the two… usually the right side which the baby tends to favor so I thought maybe the uterus’ weight was leaning on that side. I had already started the birthing ball two weeks prior and continued to drink the tea nightly. When I went to my first weekly check up at 36 weeks I had my 1st cervix check up and was dilated 2 cm already and 80% effaced… I was no where near ready for my 1st early so I cut back on the tea and birthing ball to every other, every 3 nights. I now realize those pains were contractions. They have gotten stronger and more frequent. At 37 weeks 90% effaced. At 38 weeks 3.5 cm. dilated nearly 100% effaced, spot bleeding, cramps, feels like the baby dropped. I’m now hardly drinking the tea and have plenty left. I’m trying to keep my bb in until his father’s paternity leave starts and we have everything set up, my intentions were for a quick labor not an early baby. I bought dates as well but haven’t opened the box. How much of it is the tea vs birthing ball vs my own body idk but this tea doesn’t not work. But my allergies are bad and not tea brings relief and the tea taste good so I’m tempted to have a lil more. I think it’s all about balance and taking this tea at the right time, starting off small. Be prepared to have contractions. My Doctor claims nothing is proven medically with this tea but she didn’t advise against it. After my 1st cervix check she said it’s a good sign to have start dilating and I’ll have a quick vaginal birth; whatever I’m doing is working with the tea and ball combo and not to bother with the dates. She now claims It’s rare to be this dilated at 38 weeks for a 1st child and 1 cm is more the norm but he’s a full term baby and will probably come early and quick. I think the tea should be consumed with caution as any herbs during pregnancy. Looked up every single ingredient and it check out as safe for pregnancy.

It's okay. Good but not necessary imo
I got this tea to obviously prepare for labor, I started drinking it around 34/35 weeks, im now 38 weeks. I haven't had it plain but i enjoy it cold and mixed with pineapple juice. I don't think it's really done anything to help get closer or prepare cervix for labor. I'd skip it next time but it's not bad. Also, I had to wrap the bags in a coffee filter when I steeped them or else there would be tiny crumbs/floaties of the tea in my drink, not really a fan of that myself.

Worked for me!! TWICE!
With my first, I had not dilated at all by 36weeks. I was huge, exhausted and ultimately disappointed… I had a great friend send me this hoping it would help me out!! (Also, wanted to go into natural labor- at the time that was super important to me for some reason). Anyways, started drinking the tea as directed, by 38 weeks I had dilated 3cm and was about 80/90% effaced… water broke at 39w2d. For my second, I started drinking the tea casually (like once every other day) around 37 weeks… by 38 weeks - 1cm dilated and maybe 50% effaced… Again, disappointed and ready to not be pregnant anymore lol… so, I started drinking 2 cups a day and went into labor at 39w 1d — got to the hospital barely in time!!! (My induction was scheduled for the next day)!!! I do think the tea helps, but I was also doing other things to help my body… such as curb walks, regular walks, hip opening stretches, exercise ball bouncing, dates, pineapple, all the things…
