My son has had a great time using these components with his microbit. He wouldn't wait on me to do it with him, so I don't know the details, only know he seems to keep coming up with more projects and ideas!

I didn't necessarily get this kit to get into programming, but maybe down the line. I just wanted to add to my stash of electronic components. What started me down this rabbit hole is an interest in old vintage tvs. I'm currently taking lessons in electronics, and usually a lesson will call for this or that component, and having a box like this that includes a little of everything really comes in handy. Common things you'll need like jumper wires, led lights, and resistors are all in this box. Even the all important breadboard that all beginners need to learn is included. They even included a very handy resistor chart to help you calculate the ohms you need. 5-Stars all the way!

This is a great starter set and gets you a lot of modules and components. I got this for my son who loves the stem projects and this just fit. It doesn't come with their board but it also works with the Arduino boards and that was my intended use. every thing has worked and is of great quality. I highly recommend.
