Very disappointed with how difficult it is to position the phone up to charge it. You don't just throw it on the pad and walk away. Causes me anxiety to put it down..then have to wait, look over my shoulder, realize its not charging, and then go back and adjust it. Also comes with an outrageously giant power socket that will take up many spaces on your power strip. Overall : meh.

What a gigantic rip off and waste of my time and money. First of all it doesn't charge my iPhone with my case. I have just about the thinnest clear case you've ever seen. I took the case off. It's still won't charge the phone! As a few others have noted you have to be incredibly precise, and hunt for the charging spot. It took me 3 to 4 minutes to get it set right so that the charger engaged. But I sat there for the next hour and watched my phone battery go down! It's still not charging! What a gigantic times suck to even buy this. Horrible waste of time and money.

I like the idea of this product, but mine came with what seems to be a manufacturing defect. The plating process seems to’ve failed, so this beautifully designed device had a major blemish when I opened the box for the first time. Not what I would expect from a company that touts is ruggedness, and not what I would expect for this price. It felt like this might be a cheap knockoff but I think this is an official Nomad product.

I love the design of this thing, but I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars, so consider this a lower end 3.5. The extra ports are handy, very nice to have extra usb power.However - the one thing keeping this thing from 4 or 5 stars is how picky it is with placement. Maybe it's the form factor, but I find I have to take extra time to get it in the right place.

I was attracted to this product because it looks great. It also feels greatly, and it well-constructed with quality materials. However, it's a lot more frustrating to actually use. It is challenging to charge two phones simultaneously, as the underlying charging coils are extremely finicky with placement, and require the phones to be aligned directly on the edge of each side of the charger. This isn't the type of charger where you can just drop your phone (or AirPods) and just go--you need to stand there for a bit playing with the alignment to get it just right so that it begins working. I've had a lot of experiences where I put my phone squarely on, to where I would expect it to work, but then come back 30 minutes later to learn that it hasn't been charging at all.
