Hubby loves this. It's made it very easy for him to use with sealant . Hubby has arthritis in his hands and found this one of the best things his used with little effort or hurting his hands pushing up

No gradual wearing out or slow descent into brokenness for this bad boy: it is unrelentingly useless right from the get go. Tube goes in fine, and then the problems start. The ring that clutches the tube does not do so tightly enough to drive it back against the riving-knife arrangement in the rear. You can apply additional force to the tube with your other hand, but this makes it difficult to use, and the caulking/sealing results are uneven and irregular.Tried a couple of different tubes from different manufacturers, and they all slip. Was very glad to see my old £5 gun again, I have renewed appreciation for it.

The gun worked a few times then wouldn’t start the next tube tried it three more same results shame it’s a great idea just needs more research

This is no way near as good as a normal gun, it never keeps enough pressure to push out silicone, I have to apply pressure to keep it flowing and it can be a bit much by the time I've done a shower area for example.... no way would I recommend to anyone... maybe mine isn't working like it should but I'm only reviewing the one I have... waste of money!!!!
