I've just moved in to a new house that backs on to a park so I wanted a wireless camera that was simple to install. I am in to my gadgets (mainly smart watches, telescopes, car stuff, things like that) but I have no experience of home cctv cameras.Anyway, this showed up as an "Amazon Choice" for battery security cameras. So that sounded like a pretty good recommendation, so I decided to give it a go.It arrives nicely packaged. If the camera had been yellow, it would look like a Minion. It feels nice and weighty, not plasticy and flimsly. There's a rubber cover over the charging port, I removed that and stuck it on charge for a bit. I found an old SD card and stuck that in too.Set up was a breeze. Download the app and the camera talks to you and takes you through the steps. Basically, you point the camera at a QR code shown in the app and it configures itself. Simple.You get 2 mounts. A magnetic mount which is surprisingly strong and a traditional screw mount. I tried it on my conservatory and on my fence. It's easy to move around.The picture quality is absolutely fine for the job. The night vision is actually really good. I've included some pictures of my back patio in average light and then in pitch black at 1:30 in the morning when a cat trying to steal fish from our pond triggered it.The alerts can be annoying depending on your situation, but you can turn them off. I have a dog that is often left out during the day. So if I had alerts on, I'd constantly get messages through the day every time the dog passed the camera. Likewise, cats setting it off at night. But this depends on your situation. If you have the camera covering an area that doesn't get passing people or animals then the alerts would be like a burglar alarm. Also useful inside your house. But like I said, this is in my back, so various things do set it off.This takes a toll on battery life, getting set of maybe 50 times or more in a day, but I still reckon its good for a month between charges and since charging it is so simple, I'm happy with that.I was sceptical about the cloud app. You get a free trial, but after a week you have to pay. However, $30 for a year, storing 3 days worth of footage is a bargain. If someone steals something, as long as I notice within 3 days, I have the footage. You can pay $50 to store a weeks worth for a year. But I'm happy with 3 days.It's my first venture in to home wifi battery cameras and so far it's great. Very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a bit of a rush buy as I needed a camera to cover my back garden, back door and shed combined as we have had a spate of burglaries in the area targeting back gardens and back garden access mainly breaking into sheds taking bikes and tools.I wanted something easy to put up, simple to set up, would alert me to any movement no matter where I was and allow remote monitoring, waterproof with night vision, could stand alone without needing to be near a power source or internet hard wire connection as I wasn’t quite sure on the best location until I had tried it out in different locations and it would not be possible for me to get power connections or network cables to the areas I had in mind for it and after a lot of searching and mind changing I decided on the Lemnoi security camera as it ticked all the boxes and fell within my budget.It arrived in a small Lemnoi branded sleeved box with the camera, fittings and manual inside, I gave the manual a good read while I used the supplied micro USB cable to charge the camera, the manual is fairly simple to follow also giving a QR code to scan for installing the app for either Android or Apple devices, I put a 32gig micro SD card into the camera, installed the Cloudedge app to my Android phone and ran through setting up the camera with all going very smoothly taking around 5 minutes start to finish.With the camera set up, linked to my WiFi and connected to the app on my phone I wanted to give it a good test so set it up in a few different locations testing the remote view, motion detection, alerts and night vision, the alerts worked very well capturing the footage to the micro SD card and allowing me to replay and view using history which highlights each alert and you can easily scan and view. I found the picture quality very good and perfectly adequate for identification even at a distance and picks up sound very well.The alternative magnetic fitting is very clever allowing you to adjust the camera viewing angle to anything you want easily and I have now set up both fittings covering the garden area now I am happy all the features are working well so I can easily relocate the camera, after using it now for a while the battery has hardly drained at all according to the indicator within the Cloudedge app which is also a nice feature to let you know when it needs a charge.Overall I am very happy with this camera, it delivers everything I wanted, the record quality is very good both day and night, fitting the camera is very easy and simple to put it wherever I want and not be tied to a power supply point, the motion detection works very well bringing up a movement notification and capturing the footage for me to view no matter where I am, I can view live from any location and even use the inbuilt speaker to talk to anyone should I need to.

This product is well made and easy to install to your property and to the app.Please be aware that the company forces positive feedback and will not provide you with the required memory card unless you provide them proof that you have left positive feedback. This results in all of these comments not necessarily being the full truth about the product.This frustrates me as I bought the product based on these reviews.From my experience the battery life will be a max of 4 weeks with 10 motions per day, not the recommended 4-6 months with 10 motions per day.The product is waterproof; however if there is any water or condensation on the lens then there is very limited visibility.Motion is detected late in most cases and what it has detected has gone off screen. On several occasions it has not registered me leaving the house.The alerts to my phone are sporadic which is alarming if you require to use as a security camera.

Lemnoi rechargeable battery outdoor camera is easy to install, easy to setup, the mobile app is very user-friendly and intuitive. The picture quality is decent, but not very crisp, you can’t zoom in , and it may not get a high detailed picture but the resolution is overall good especially in the light, not very well in the night though. I might get a flood light with a motion detection to help it at night. Overall it is a bargain, great price, elegant design and packaging. I haven’t tried the two-way voice but other say it is pretty decent. The battery lasted for 3 -4 weeks with high definition photos and high setting of motion detection with notifications around 5-6/ day. That is pretty amazing to be honest. I wasn’t expecting as long as 4 month as per the ads though, however 4 weeks in a busy area with heavy usage and the battery last for 4 weeks.. impressive.
