Functional and so handy!
A great product! With an active outdoor family like I have with my two boys, this blanket is an absolute must! This blanket is super lightweight and compact- easy to store in my backpack or purse. I was excited to be able to carry it with me nearly all the time. My son sits plays on it at the baseball games. At our soccer game it began to rain, we stood up and wrapped it around us and instantly it became a rain jacket for us. After the rain it was chilly, and we stayed warm with the blanket covering us!The blanket has some great features, such as these red pockets on each corner that I could put my cellphone in, or other items to be out sight and out of the sun. It also has cords on the corners so that it can be anchored down to the ground or held onto when wrapping around us when it is raining. The bag has this handy clip on it so I can easily attach it to my stroller or backpack or even belt making it easy to take with me about everywhere I want to go - and still have both my hands free!I ordered another blanket for my outdoor-loving brother in Seattle and his two kids! The only negative - which is a positive too- is that with its compact size it is difficult to fit back in the bag. I tried cramming it back into the bag and found out that was not the best method. So far, folding it longwise a few times and then rolling it has been the easiest and quickest way to get it back in the bag -because who has time to do a fancy fold. The pro is that since the bag is so compact it makes it easier to transport. So overall- functional- absolutely! Handy- completely! Features I didn't even think I needed- it's got them.Great product! I was lucky to get to this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion. And I bought another one for me brother!

Nice compact tarp, but "poncho mode" doesn't really work.
I got this to keep in a go bag. I like objects with multiple functions. In this case the concept is clever but the execution didn't work for me and I will be returning it.If you want a "pocket blanket," this is great choice. The quality seems good, it appears to be made with ripstop fabric, it's very light, and in its stuff bag it is the smallest one I've found so far at this level of quality. (Anything more compact was a plastic sheet or emergency Mylar blanket.)I know being a poncho is not the primary function, but this wouldn't work for me even in a pinch. It's essentially a cape with a hood. There wasn't nearly enough velcro to hold it closed up front, and it gapped up front below the hood. So in the front, I got partial coverage on my torso at best. (I am average build and 5'5".) On the plus side, there was so much fabric in the back it could have easily covered a backpack. The product could be improved with strategically placed snaps. A premium version could also have covered zipper armholes so it could still be used as a tarp.

This is the perfect, on-the-go blanket / tarp for all of your outdoor needs!
I LOVE this blanket / tarp and I LOVE this company! About a year ago I bought my first 2 - in -1 pocket blanket and made a comment about how the product would be perfect if only it had some kind of a latch or velcrow to fasten it together when being worn as a rain tarp. A few months later I received an unexpected email thanking me for my feedback ... and a brand new pocket blanket with a fastening velcrow latch modification! I have never known a company to be so responsive to feedback. I am certainly now a loyal customer of anything they produce! Not only does this nifty little tarp compress neatly into it's own stuff sack, it fits in my pocket and travels everywhere with me. I have used it as a beach mat, a rain jacket, a hiking bag rain tarp, and have even strung it up over my hammock for a night under the stars. I will say it falls a little short for the average camping hammock, but it did the trick in a pinch when I'd forgotten my usual, over-sized rain tarp. And, you can't beat the price!

Meh. Not so great.
It's a great idea except for 2 things. A) when you use it as a poncho, the hood is not very big. Also, if it had an extended brim (like a baseball cap), it would be perfect! B) yes it's great when it's all folded up to throw in a purse, pocket or bag, because it's small, but trying to refold it and stuff it back in the little carry pouch is a pain! The pouch should be a little roomier for greater ease in repacking. I bought 2 (blue & red) one for me, & one for my sister as a gift, & I'm kinda disappointed, so I'll continue on my search for a better product before our next vacay!

Woked for me
It worked for what I expected.I use it infront of the tent door to help keep stuff out.I couldn't figure out how the hood could be used - it is at on the long side rather than in the middle like a poncho

This is such a wonderful addition to any trip you plan on taking
This is such a wonderful addition to any trip you plan on taking, near or far! We carried ours along to the beach, where we just happened to encounter a tropical depression for part of our stay. Though I had hoped we wouldn't need to use the rain poncho part of it, this feature came in incredibly handy! It's so small and easy to transport, very lightweight and now an included accessory on our outings! We'll definitely be recommending these to our friends and family!

Not practical at all and a total disappointment for the money I paid
This is NOT a true poncho. It is a square piece of waterproof fabric with a hood sewn on one edge. Not practical at all and a total disappointment for the money I paid.
