Opus Flux Over-Ear Closed Back Headphones with Mic & Volume Control

I've used these headphones outdoors every day while building a loafing shed. I had to use loud power tools and hammer strikes every day. The sound insulation is quite good, my ears never hurt from the outside sounds. It mostly silences outside sounds. It works better than noise cancelling headphones I have used. I think without noise cancelling the sound is more "pure". I believe noise cancelling, in the other brands that have that, has some delay and phase issues. It's subtle but there. I've used other noise-cancelling headphones and get cell phone buzz in the noise cancelling mode when the phone tries to communicate with cell towers. Some other noise-cancelling brands add certain background sounds you don't want. Since there's no electronics in this unit, there's no irritating noises. The sound quality is good in all cases. In fact I generally have sensitive ears and good hearing. If there's noise or issues, my ears will hurt. After 10 days, all day, no ear issues. The sound must be fairly good and clean.I caught the wire while working and broke it into pieces. The wire isn't so strong. I used a standard 2 wire cable that's a bit more rugged and made sure I tucked the cable out of the way. Those you can buy anywhere including Amazon. I contacted the seller and they are replacing the cable, so support seems quite good.I really like these. I recommend them. Note that I haven't used them on airplanes. But the noise cancelling headphones I used on airplanes had to be the right ones, some work, some don't work so well.I haven't used the microphone, cannot comment.No hassle with batteries dying! No batteries here. That's a real issue with all the noise-cancelling models. I may never go back to noise-cancelling after these "Noise-Isolating". I now much prefer these noise-isolating.I love the simplicity, reliability, sound, quiet. Solidly built. Not built to twist the earpieces to lay flat. That's good because all the others that could do that eventually broke. A small inconvenience for a huge longevity boost!I find the ears will get a bit uncomfortable. I have a large head size. If I pull them out to full size, they hurt less. I've used them for over 8 hours for 10 days straight. I feel it but it isn't bad.Overall, I miss them if I'm working without them.

With my old phones, my spouse was complaining that he could hear my music, etc. through the phones and it was actually loud enough to bother him. I decided to try these b/c of the phrase "Noise-Isolating" in the name. I've been using them for several weeks and my husband can no longer hear my noise :) The sound quality is very good, and the flat cord is a great improvement over the old-style kinky cord that I had, which would always tangle/curl up/etc. CAVEAT: I have very small ears, so these are comfortable for me, but if you have large ears they might not be for you, as the square-shaped earpads don't have a lot of space for larger ears. I'm very happy with these phones.

I have bought many different headphones for myself and my family over the years. Some have been the expensive Beats and I must say these Opus headphones sound better than them. Not only the sound quality but the construction is top notch. Very solid head band and the leather or whatever material is very durable. I use the built in micro phone to take calls and whomever I am talking to hears me very clearly. Best value out there. Nighly recommend them.

The best headphones I have ever had. Superior quality for the price. Would recommend these to anyone.

Theses headphones work. The sound is good most of the time. Sometimes one of the sides of the headset stops working and I have to move the wire around to get it to work again. The other reason I'm rating it so low is because I'm going to have to buy a new headset because these are pressing down on my ears and hurt my ears from the pressure on my ears after wearing them more than 30 minutes. If you're only going to wear them for brief periods these will be fine. Otherwise shop elsewhere.

Plugged into PC no sound. Tried in Kindle, no sound.

Buen sonido. Materiales. Bien. Nada extraordinario. Vino en bolsa soloCon el estuche. Audifono y cable. Le doy 4 porque se oyen bien. Son comodos. Y el cable aparte del boton play stop yiene una barra para el audio muy independiente del volumen de tu dispositivo. Para mi es un plus.Los bajos no son tan marcados. Pero en general se oyen bien. En los agudos pudiera mejor. Pero no afecta mucho para apreciar la música. No distorcionan casi aun a volumen alto y son muy comodos. El cable flat es un buen plus.

Tenían buen sonido el único inconveniente es que a pesar de haberlos transportado siempre en su estuche y sin golpearlos, una bocina ya no funciona, parece estar bailando dentro del audífono, lo cual denota pésima calidad.
