These are the cheap ones
They look ok but I went on a first aid course after I bought this and found out more. The compression strap (the part that you wind up) is quite short compared to the more professional ones. Those have a strap that threads all the way through the main strap which give you far more length to compress., so you can keep on winding until you stop the blood loss. With these you only have 100mm to work so you would need to start out really tight, or it might not work at all.I don't want to find out. I will be replacing mine.

First aid tourniquet
Not seen this item as it was a gift for my son who was exploring Iceland alone so exactly what he wanted as could apply it to himself. Thankfully it wasn't needed to be used on his trip.
