LEGONinjago Temple of Light 70505 (Discontinued by manufacturer)

Our 8 year old son asked for this (with his fingers crossed) for his birthday. I couldn't find any other supplier who could guarantee delivery before Christmas, let alone a week or so when we needed it, so was absolutely delighted when we found this on Amazon. Had the product in two days and saved me a four hour round trip to the nearest shop who had it. Best thing is my son is delighted with it, especially as it has the golden ninja and four other mini figures. He was given it yesterday and got up early this morning to finish building it before school. I'm confident this set will keep him happy for hours. Very happy boy! NB: Not called the Temple of Light on the box but The Final Battle. Same set (70505) though I think it may even be discontinued. It was out of stock at the Lego shop and all suppliers up to 60 miles from us, so very grateful to have found it here.

Als Einordnungshilfe: Ich bringe dem Ninjago-Lego insgesamt mindestens ebenso viel Enthusiasmus entgegen wie mein Sohn und würde jedem der Teile die volle Punktzahl geben. Trotzdem gibt es einige besondere Lieblinge, zu denen nun auch der Tempel gehört. Da stimmt alles: Spielspaß, Handhabbarkeit, Optik und Preis/Leistung. Besonders das Tempelgebäude, aber auch der goldene Roboter sind absolut gelungen. Beide sind hervorragend bespielbar, ohne dass auch nur ein einziges Teil-das-ständig-abgeht nerven würde. Und das, obwohl vor allem der Tempel mit entzückend liebevollen (Schmuck-)Details versehen ist.Aus der Beobachtung des eigentlichen Anwenders kann ich sagen, dass vor allem die Falltür und die Wandelbarkeit des Tempels durch die klappbaren Seitenteile ordentlich Spielspaß bieten, genauso wie der erfreulich robuste Roboter, der bei uns als eine Art goldener Godzilla über den Tempelbereich wacht.Nicht gerade unwichtig für die Kleinen sind natürlich auch specials wie die elementaren Waffen, der goldene Ninja und Lord Garmadon, die beim Tempel dabei sind.Zur Kaufentscheidung: Da klar war, dass wir den goldenen Ninja in irgendeiner Form haben müssen, kamen zunächst Tempel des Lichts oder Goldener Drache in Frage. Da wir aber schon zwei Ninjago-Drachen haben (und zumindest gegen den vierköpfigen hätte der goldene Drache auch recht mickrig gewirkt), gefiel mir das 'Tempel des Lichts'-Paket besser. Und die Entscheidung war wortwörtlich goldrichtig:)

My son had wanted this item for ages, so when his birthday came around, we bought it. He is nine years old and was able to do a lot of it himself. He loves it, there are mini figures, then a great big figure that one of them sits in, the building it self closes up on hinges and there are trapdoors in the body of the building, it all very exciting for him.

Kids love this set!!! So glad we purchased it! Fast delivery with Prime as always. Purchase price of $114 was a bit high but also not surprising and as to be expected when purchasing a discontinued and older set. My boys got into Ninjago late so paying a bit more happens. All in all a GREAT purchase!

(review by my son) I bought this with my pocket money. I was waiting so much for it to arrive and the set came promptly after ordering.It's fantastic. The set comes with clear instructions for the golden mech and the temple of light itself. It comes with detailed lego pieces like the windows, the elemental weapons, the minifigures and more. There's also a cool feature that I think LEGO have never had before. If you move the mechanism at the back of the temple, the trap door on the grey platform will open! Overall I love this product. Would recommend!!!
