Nice replacement for my old rough in for our tub.

The kit is great, I went with this one because of the quick connects for the hot and cold water. Having never replaced a bathtub faucet I did not want to deal with copper. What I didn’t realize is this one does not come with actual water lines. This would be a 5 star if it came with a quick connect adapter for the 1/2 inch faucet hoses. I was able to make my own connection with Pex.

Easy to install and it’s a moen so all worked as it should used in a retro fit so worked in a 8” spread existing holes well worth the money

Moen is using some sort of proprietary connections here. They give you the hoses to connect the hot and cold valves to the spout which is great and easy. But they don't give you connectors for the supply side. They do give you an adapter, but it's also weird. I figured it would be a male part and I'd be able to use a sharkbite fitting. But the adapter has a CPVC female connector. To connect to a standard supply, I had to first connect a short piece of CPVC pipe to their adapter, then connect that to a CPVC to 1/4 threaded adapter in order to connect it to a standard supply line. Had to aslo buy a small can of CPVC cement because of course regular PVC cement is not compatible with their weird adapter. If they included a supply line that connects to their proprietary connection it would be a good value. Maybe they expect you to call a plumber that had every conceivable fitting, but for DYI this is to be avoided unless you want to spend needless time and money figuring out how to connect this to a standard water supply.

Can't wait to use my new tub with the shower nozzle. This setup allows you to put the shower head anywhere on the tub, even though we ended up putting it next to the faucet anyway. I love Moen products because they stand by their guarantee. I've never had a problem with customer service.

Great product easily installed on my free standing tub. For a first time attempt at this type of project, the instructions were a little hard to follow. I quickly overcame that problem after talking to one of the experts at my local home improvement stores.

Didnt install it yet, but wanted to point out that it comes with the shower hose. So no need to buy it separately.

Needed to replace in a tub with little access. Plumbers were telling me they'd have to break ceramic, drywall, lift the bath.Decided to give this a try, and turned out to be a good choice. My space was very limited, just a few inches under a fiberglass tub. Managed to get everything installed since nothing needs to be soldered, I was able to progressively tighten and connect plumbing.At first, I was a bit shocked by the look of the plumbing, as others have reported it looked pretty bad compared to the picture on the page. But looking at the 360 degree view, its the same, and even in their installation video, its the same. Not sure why the one on the product page looks so pristine.I hesitate giving 3 stars, since the actual number of affordable trims for this kit is actually quite limited.I dropped it down a star though because CPVC adapters are nearly impossible to find, and CPVC installations are probably not all that common in households. So I ended up having to buy a PEX crimper to do it that way. Its a bit of a shame because CPVC would have been quite easy, but I couldn't find anywhere online that sold CPVC to NPT adapter (chief sioux seems to have, but where to find in store??).

You definitely need this if you want the most flexibility in installation options for your faucet. Moen did a great job of making the product easy to install. Note that the some (or all) retailers will not show this valve as an option for your faucet so it is best you do proper research on compatible valves.

the valves are working great but the price could be a lot cheaper since I have to buy trims too. good quality but wish it's more affordable

After having a plumber installing this it had to be ripped out because it was an older product that should not have been sold (I learned this through MOEN). It leaked from the start. MOEN was a great help in send replacement cartridges but it did not work. So had to have plumber back out to take out. This cost 230 for install and 230 to try to repair and then remove. MOEN sent us a different one and covered in under warranty. But they said the product was likely used and returned (likely because it leaked) and then resold
