best bang for the buck
best bang for the buck. This is a great light. perfect for personal use, self defense, and weapon mounted applications. Having three brightness levels increases the functionality even more. I have 2 t200x2, 2 t100's, 2 s200c2 and they are all exceptional flashlights and no problems after three years of use. i have used many major brand name lights such as sure fire and stream light. I use to have a 500 dollar streamlight which i used on duty as a security guard. I then mounted the stream light to my AR15 and replaced my duty light with an 80 dollar t200c2 xm-l2 and was extremely impressed. I bought another t200c2 with the eagle tac momentary switch and i could not be happier with that set up for my ar15. the stream light now sits in a drawer where it is used occasionally around the house.Eagle tac seems to hold up to shock well and you would probably break the glass lens b4 the LED stops working. But that being said i have never broken the glass lens on an eagle tac. The light also seems to be fairly water resistant but i don't believe its intended to be used under water. rain and mud are no problem. This light is also very bright. I was disappointed that i spent so much money on a stream light. This light does lack a strobe and SOS mode which i personally do not need. Eagle tac does have newer flashlights with SOS and Strobe modes if you require those settings. If you are looking for a tactical light for an assault rifle or similar medium range weapon i would recommend checking out the s200c2 because it throws a beam further using the same body and battery. the only difference is the reflector lens.for close range weapons such as shotguns go with the t200c2 or similar flashlights.I recommend using amazon prime verified sellers because IF you have a problem with anything you can easily return the produce for a replacement or refund.

Great addition to the "T" family.
I was pleasantly surprised by this addition to the Eagtac family. At 1116 Lumens (on max) this thing can deliver a tremendous amount of light. The anodized aluminum body is rock solid and feels very comfortable in the hands. Another great addition is the built in bezel, which can be used to shatter glass in an emergency situation. If you are looking for a high performance flashlight, look no further!

I do wish there were more settings like you find on the P series(strobe
The EagleTac T200C2 was an upgrade from a P model EagleTac that I had lost. I have now had this flashlight for 2 years. Operation of the flashlight is simple and even after heave use, still works flawlessly. I do wish there were more settings like you find on the P series(strobe, SOS, etc), however the boost in lumens is significant and enough for me not to care too much about the lack of other features. This is a tad larger than I was used to in a EDC light and it took some time getting used to it, however this guy is durable. This flashlight uses either 2 CR123A batteries or 1 18650 battery. Included is the glow in the dark replacement button, a case and a lanyard. Overall I am satisfied with this flashlight and would buy again.

It's a Bright light but....
Getting the turbo mode to engage is kind of a pain. You have to crank the light entirely too hard to get the mode on and loosening it to go back to normal light is even more difficult. If the light breaks and you don't get warranty repair on it, the cost of parts is astronomical. The LED module is sold as a complete assembly with the front housing and lens. I bought another light because it would have cost me $50 to fix my $60 light.I'll be looking into another type of light that has easy to find/replace parts.Eagle tac lights aren't even made in the US. The whole reason I spent the money I did was to support a US business. I've been buying convoy flash lights and they are much better. They are repairable, you can modify them if you're into that, parts are available and affordable and the S2+ (the light I bought to replace this eagle tac) was less than $20.

My second one!
I have had a T200C2 for about 4 or 5 years and have used it daily for that time. I have this new one now and the only thing I did was change the old pocket clip from the original to the new one. The old one is longer and more flexible. The brightness is intense enough to see an animal in the woods at 100 yards and not just the eyes shining back. Very happy to get the new one. The seller included a belt holster which I don't remember as included in the description. Sold by Andrew & Amanda.

Need to have an exchange!
Purchased 2 flashlights and received them but one of them did not work even after trying 3 new batteries.

Light output is far greater than 300 yards
It is a very bright light and the beam shoots much farther than 300 yards. As a matter of fact I was shooting at a barn at a confirm 650 yards and the light was reflecting off of it not much but it was still noticeable. So other than that how does the light perform? Why the light itself is okay and getting to the settings are fairly easy with the twist of a cap the longevity and reliability is what should matter in the end. I have had constant issues with it after the first year with it blinking then turning on high and then goes back to low. Cleaned contacts and that helps but still did not fix issue. Point being for $70 there are much much better lights that will give you more what you're looking for.

bright and easily portable. It has three settings
I work in attics a lot for work. I do wire pulls, and I needed something simple, bright and easily portable. It has three settings: bright, medium and low. Don't point the flashlight at anything with a white background, with your eyes close to it, or you'll go blind. It's the perfect light for traveling the crevices of attics, as it doesn't get in the way and I can easily hold it in my mouth (yeah yeah, germs and homosexual jokes). I purchased two panasonic rechargeable batteries to go with this, and it's all good so far.If you want an affordable, medium sized and ultra bright flashlight, get this. It has one LED for all of this power!
