Pick another book
I only wish I’d read the comments first. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. It looks like it was made by a five year old in their bedroom. Actually I think a 5yr old might have done a better job. The so called book is more like a badly made pamphlet.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!
What an absolute rio off!!!! This "book" (it's a pamphlet) tells you absolutely nothing!! It is comprised of simple obvious statements like "pick a size of container that works best for you". Worst purchase I've ever made and the reason you should be careful what you order on Amazon!!!

WAY overpriced!
The "magazine" as I would call it, only has 30 pages and a huge font size. I believe you could easily change it to 15 pages in a normal size and put in some images. Not worth the purchase. The information can easily be found around the internet - for free.

BOOK CONTAINS LITTLE TO NO DETAIL. DON'T EXPECT TO LEARN ANYTHING YOU CAN'T FIND FOR FREE OR GUESS ON YOUR OWN.
Literally everything that the previous disgruntled purchaser said was true. In fact, it was so spot on that I thought for a second that person was me. In fact, I am so disappointed that I came back to write this review over a year and a half following my purchase. This "book" falls short for even a beginner's guide. I had it packed up and ready to return and missed the window. Since I was stuck with it, I thought I had found found the perfect use for it: I tried to place it under a wobbly chair leg, but I overestimated the thickness and it turns out that it isn't even as suitable as a sugar packet. It's so invaluable, that I attempted to train my chihuahua to take a piss on it and even he refused, instead choosing a $0.99 blank, lined paper notebook. Man, I wish I could make that trade back. I'd use it as tinder for my fire pit during the winter, but I am afraid it wouldn't burn long enough to get the fire lit. THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN THIS BOOK WAS THE RESULT OF THE LAST UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING THIS "GUIDE".

Absolutely useless, don't waste your time
Incredibly disappointed with this. Where to begin...it's about the size of a small pamphlet. Only 30 pages or so, and that's 30 pages with generous margins, double-spacing, and large font. No images, illustrations, diagrams, etc... beyond the compelling cover photo. The writing gives very few actual useful details about building a container home. It sounds like it was written by a 5th grader doing a book report on a book they didn't actually read. Most of the statements are along the lines of "you could do this [X] or [Y]", but offers little to no detail beyond that in terms of HOW you would do those things, WHY you would pick them, WHAT the benefits and tradeoffs are, etc... You know, things that would actually make this book useful and provide info beyond the obvious. The favorite turn of phrase seems to be "as per your needs", which often follows the "you could do [X] or [Y]" statements. This seems to be lazy writing, provides little information, and is the type of phrase a middle schooler would use in their book report to fluff the word count and sound sophisticated while actually conveying no additional information about the subject they're covering.I was hoping for diagrams, pictures, case studies...really anything that would be useful or provide examples or inspiration. Got none of it. I wouldn't be surprised if this started out as a Google doc with some notes on the outline of a book, that got taken to Kinkos and printed. If it were a pamphlet in the lobby of an architecture firm, I'd take a free copy and toss it before the end of the day. Definitely not worth $12.95.They say never judge a book by its cover, and I've learned that the hard way. The cover of this book sold me and I was sorely disappointed.

This is NOT a guide book
This is most certainly not a guide book, and is little more than anecdotal information or high-level bullet point notes. Additionally, if you are a visual person with expectation of imagery to support the information this "book" is certainly not for you, the only picture is the cover. As seen in my photo, the "brochure" is roughly the size of a flash-drive if that gives you any indication of relevant content. There are no citations or footnotes to validate content shared. For those looking to construct their own, the most appealing aspect is taking inspiration from the book cover image.
