Great idea, to expensive for what you get! Lids don’t stay on markers easily, my grandsons had a lot of fun but I realized I could print a variety off on my printer and got clip boards for .99 a piece that makes it easier for the kids to use, carrying the cards they kept smudging off there finds and got mad! But I printed off 3 age groups all different kinds and clip boards, so 50 pages of dif kinds off internet and 4 clip boards maybe cost me 10 dollars tops so just try and print them off at home! To expensive on Amazon

We took this set with us on a camping trip and my granddaughter who normally says "scavenger hunts are boring" loved it. She liked it so much that she asked to play again the next day and asked for it again during another camping trip. She likes that her uncles can do it with her since it has multiple boards and markers. It's fun to see who can find the stuff the fastest. Her family is planning to use the road trip one when they move cross country next year.

I love the color and the variety in this set. I ordered a different brand as well and these are far superior.

These are soooo cute! They're much smaller and lighter than I imagined, which will make them much more convenient for car rides and hiking trips--I'll just purchase some mini clipboards, and we'll be all set.I also like the included information card, which gives suggestions on how to make scavenger hunts into a team sport, and how to make scavenger hunts harder for older kids (such as setting time limits or requiring photo proof).The weblink provided is also really nice, with more ideas for seasonal scavenger hunts. And I love that the cards are made by a small family-owned company.The only disappointment I have is that the cards didn't erase cleanly, even mere moments after writing on them. (See my attached photo.)Luckily, the info card gave advice for what to do in this case, saying to use water or hand sanitizer if this happens. Water removed 98% of the residual pen smear. Whew!

What a great idea! A fun game for ALL AGES!So many positive points about this game set:* double-sided for more scavenger hunt settings (camping, park, road trip, nature)* easy to play, yet "challenging"* can be played over and over again* one person to a card or as a team* younger kids/early readers can use pictures/learn associated word shown for each picture "hunt" item* dry erase marker with eraser included* game is portable and doesn't take up a lot of room!* great price for repeated fun!* wipes clean (especially when done soon after game is completed-water or rubbing alcohol, even sanitizer can clean also!)The only thing that could make this any better would be to have a storage pouch, and for the pens somehow "attach" to game cards by either small piece of Velcro, plastic cord etc, but that is an easy fix and I will be trying that myself (just placed each card in a resealable baggie!).** Two of my Grandkids (ages 6 and 8 1/2) had fun playing on the "Road trip" side on the way to see more family when they were here for a visit. They played again on the "Camping" side when they went camping with friends. ALL had fun playing with "teams"!** We did have one erase marker that was completely dried up before we even used it, but thankfully there were 5 in the set and I can replace with another one. Still a huge "LIKE" from all.
