Lovely Light
Decided to switch to Edison style bulbs as much as possible after discovering they're never hot to the touch while lit. Seems to be a much safer alternative to other options, even other LED bulbs that I've noticed get extremely hot at their base. Was happily surprised to find Edison bulb in a 3 - Way option. Works well with no flicker in any of the settings, lovely suffused glow.

I ordered 2 diff ones
Now this review is a mixed bag as I ordered 2 types, I ordered the soft white which is actually really good and works fine with a 3 way switch in my lamp. But the daylight one only went to 2 settings and was defective. I had to return that one. It also hurt my eyes badly, maybe if they used milky white glass it'd hurt less or at least frosted it. But the soft white one DOES NOT hurt my eyes so I will still buy from Sylvania. Just try to improve the quality control.

Good blub, better customer service!
I used this bulb sporadically for less than a year and a half before it started flickering and then died. The bulb cost more than a lot of bulbs so I was upset that it stopped working so soon. Luckily it has a 5 year warranty, so I called 1-800-LIGHTBULB and within 5 minutes they had taken care of me!! I was so shocked! I expected to spend a least 30 minutes. Companies nowadays really give you the run around when trying to get a warranty replacement, but not Sylvania apparently! The bulb is good, too! I wish it was slightly dimmer on its lowest setting, but otherwise it's fine. There doesn't seem to be a vast difference in brightness between all three modes, but there is a difference. Might depend on your room, too.

These three way are hard to find locally. Wish i could find 30/50/70?
It is difficult to find low wattage bulbs locally; These have a great shade like an incandescent.

Great 3 way LED bulb!
This bulb worked out perfectly in our living room where we did not want our lamp too bright. The 3 way feature has good brightness spacing with a nice indoor color rating. Recommended!

Excellent light
My house has a lot of floor lamps, not many ceiling lights. I use 3-way bulbs so that I can easily vary the lighting. This bulb provides excellent light; in fact, even when reading I usually have it on the lowest setting (so if you are looking for an "intimate" 25-watt effect this isn't the bulb for you!). It's compact (meaning that it's the size of a "normal" light bulb, not bulky like some of the older fluorescent 30-ways), so it fits easily in any standard lamp. The only thing that some people may find disconcerting is that the glass is clear, so from some angles you can see the very bright lighting elements. I also recommend inspecting the bulb carefully on arrival - mine came in its store package loose inside a much bigger box, with no protective packing whatsoever, so probably got bounced around in transit.

Its 3 brightness settings are "bright -> nuclear bomb -> sun"
Bought two bulbs and installed them in nightstand lamps, hoping they would give out a nice, warm and very cozy light output. As soon as I turned them on I realized that even in their dimmest setting, they are ultra bright. Almost as bright as the main ceiling fixture I have in the bedroom. Having both on is like being inside a UFO. The difference between dim, medium and bright is basically useless since it's not as big of a gap to make any difference.Quality wise the bulbs worked fine out of the box, seem well made and they don't cast any weird color tones like blue or green. They are very similar to incandescent as advertised.

3Way LED with full bulb area
I had specific requirements when renovating lamps for a bedroom. I wanted 3way and I wanted as much transparent surface area on the bulb as possible. This is a 40/60/100 rated LED and the jump from 40-60 is noticeable but less apparent than the jump from 60-100. These ranges are what I actually wanted, so I'm happy. These are tall bedside lamps with barrel shades, so I wanted the bulb itself to be clear as much towards the bottom as possible to light the bedside table. Many LED bulbs have a significant portion of the bulb pedestal that is opaque, limiting my choices pretty much to this bulb. I opted for the 2700K not because it is less expensive than the 5000K but because softer, warmer lighting is better for a bedroom. Think about it.
