Communication is key
My wife and I travel for recreation and sometimes to remote areas without cell signal. Good to have. Great for caravaning.

No auto scan
Nice unit it's easy to use but lacks the auto scan feature. Has a PA function but does not come with the speaker

Inexpensive CB
Bought as a package with magnetic antenna. Both are very inexpensive. Was very useful for being in a convoy. Volume could be louder/clearer but is functional. The speaker is on the bottom, so placement is important not to block the speaker further reducing volume/clarity.I don't regret purchasing but if I planned to use it on a daily basis as crucial communication over distance, it might be worth investigating a better package.
