My wife and I ordered this luggage to be used on a trip to South America to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We received it the day before our departure. Unfortunately, when we took the luggage out of the box, the air was immediately filled with a chemical odor so strong hat we could not stand. We immediately put the luggage back in the box and put it in our garage. As we were leaving the next day, there was nothing we could do about the situation. The luggage was unusable, so we had to go out and buy a set locally. As a result, we cannot offer any comments about the use of the luggage. As to appearance, the luggage was exactly as the photos and descriptions showed. We have every reason to believe that the luggage quality was as promised. When we returned home we contacted the vendor to arrange for a return. The vendor was extremely nice, and told us that we should simply let the product air out. We explained that this was not viable, as it was not usable by us when it was needed, so we had to find a set locally. We did receive a return authorization. Unfortunately, the vendor would not pay for return shipping. Were we returning the product simply because we had changed our minds, we would have had no disagreement with paying the return shipping. But it is our firm belief that the outgassing of chemical vapors rendered the luggage unusable, and that, in strictest terms, is legitimately classed as a product defect. Further communications did not receive any replies, so we felt that we had no choice but to ship the product back to the vendor at our expense. I must be fair and state that this is, obviously, a policy division on the part of the vendor, but simply is a policy with which we disagree. we do NOT believe that this represents an ethical defect on anyone's part. Despite this situation, if we need a product and we find the best terms from this vendor, we will buy from them again. But this time we will insure that there are no misunderstandings about returns BEFORE we hit the PLACE ORDER button.

Don't waste your money, although it looks tough and feels as if, its NOT! I ordered it twice due to my first luggage breaking on first use, zippers easily rip off trail, its made out of cheap plastic, wheels broke off easily. Save your money and buy better luggage. Due to this being a SET & one can just buy a single luggage, I was forced to buy it again (give it the benefit of the doubt) for the 2nd time I was reminded why I dont give 2nd chances. Got my FULL refund from AMAZON, because Simply-ME Customer service is hella rude and will argue with you about luggage issues, even after explaining and sending pictures of the broken item.

There is a flaw in the zipper that causes the luggage to pop open when it is zipped closed at the same spot each time. No refund or replacement and we have been advised to replace the zipper at our own expense 😢

Zippers don't align and split anytime we try to close. It's happening on all 3 pieces and they are useless.
