I bought this as we were invited to an 80 th Commemoration event in France recently (not DDay, this was in rural France) and I wanted to make people aware that we are British so they knew why we were there. As soon as we arrived at the event someone noticed the badge on my jacket and over the course of the day so did others. The badge fastens with a clip which slips onto the back of it and is very neat and not too obtrusive. It will serve on other occasions too, but was definitely an asset on our recent visit. Good quality and great value.
