WüsthofClassic 6” Chef’s Knife, Black

This is easily the best chef's knife I've had the pleasure of owning. As expected for Wüsthof, the knife feels comfortable in your hand, it's well-weighted and balanced, and right out of the box it passes through paper, tomatoes and fresh garlic with ease. As long as you take good care of it and practice proper maintenance/honing, it should last for a decade plus of regular usage, which makes it a pretty good value for your money.

6" chef's knife is usually my first option - my go-to knife. Happy with this one. Sharp, good balance, comfortable handle, relatively inexpensive. Not sure how it may hold up vs. more expensive options over time, but so far so good. Does the job.

After many failed attempts of finding a comfortable and sharp knife, I finally decided to splurge on this Wusthoff 6” chef’s knife. I was expecting it to be another disappointment in a long string of “duds”, but in fact it’s beyond everything I had been looking for. It is super comfortable to hold and navigate, always super sharp and one of my 3 knives I reach for daily. Yes, the price impact was a hefty consideration, but now that I have been using it for a while, this knife was seriously worth every penny… and more.

Extremely sharp, light and easy to cut anything I need. Is a tad expensive but you pay for what u get.

I cook a lot and I had wanted to get this knife for a long time. Now I only wish I had bought it sooner! It is exceptionally sharp with a good balanced weight, and the shape fits in the hand so perfectly. The shape also makes it very comfortable to hold and the durability of this brand is legendary. I find the size very versatile and use it for kitchen projects both large and small. So very pleased with this purchase!
