This is surpassed my expectations for the replacement bulb that I got. Thank you.

Terrible flicker and overheats
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to replace an old lamp for an Optoma 142x projector. Installation was easy and straightforward, but the new projector bulb had a rainbow flicker after only a few minutes of being on. Ultimately, after 10-15 minutes, the lamp overheated and shut off the projector. We reinstalled/reseated a few times with the same issue. Returned thanks to Amazon customer service.

Much brighter than the previous replacement lamp
This lamp was super easy to install but I think that's also due to the construction of my Optoma projector. It's also a lot brighter than the lamp that it replaced. I used to have to run that one at full brightness just to see what I was watching in a room with a little light. With this one, I find myself turning down the brightness especially if what I'm watching is mostly white or bright colors. I will definitely buy this lamp again when I have to

Underwhelmed
Did not fit my Optoma projector

Worked fine for a few weeks then the lamp exceeded hpurs message came back. Amazon only gives 30 days to return it so the 200 day Warrenty is a load of crap now have to jump through a bunch of hoops to contact the seller.

I bought this used and was a little concerned because of some of the reviews. The price was very much worth the risk. The lamp has been working perfectly. Perhaps the others who voiced their opinions didn't understand how to install it. I have no complaints and realized I made the right decision! The 3D works great as well with the new lamp!
