Custom Sound & Tint Customer Service is OUTSTANDING!
I ordered this unit from Custom Sound & Tint to replace my 20 year old unit. The Kenwood stereo itself is fantastic. HD Radio, Bluetooth, Spotify and Pandora, and hands free phone. The best part of this purchase was the customer service. Having some trouble getting the unit hooked up properly, I sent a note to Amazon that I needed some assistance. Right away, Mike The CEO of Custom Sound & Tint responded and provided his personal cell number so that we could troubleshoot the problem. A couple of texts back and forth and he called me to talk me through the problem. In less than 10 minutes we had the problem identified and the stereo was working great. I can not say enough about the customer service! If only every business cared as much about their customers and their satisfaction. Thanks Mike, well done!!

So far it seems to be a great unit.
I researched ahead of time after a bad Pioneer experience, so I'm not surprised, but I'm still very disappointed that I can no longer plug my iPod into the USB port and use that as my "radio station." I don't understand the taking away of that simple feature.

So many features
I doubt I’ll use all the features with the stereo. I like my phone app for making all the sound adjustments. I like how it automatically connects to my phone when I turn it on. I only bought it for the HD radio but like everything else about it as well

Great value and connectivity
It is a very powerful unit for the price. It doesn’t come with a remote so you have to order it separately for a minimal price. Great for Bluetooth or aux cable.

Died after 18 months
The worst: dead after 18 months. Cost to repair= more than new. No Kenwood warranty anyway, since Amazon is not an authorised Kenwood seller. (must buy a 3rd party insurance). While it worked, all the features functioned well. However as not so young users, we found many button functions unfriendly: to change the bass (or equaliser) between listening to music and talk-radio takes too many complicated steps; not doable while driving. If you then fail to press the return button the required number of times, the volume button is no longer the volume and never defaults back, so even 20m later when you might need to adjust the volume, it does not. To turn off: press and hold "Source", but if you press too short you have changed the source and need to press another 6 times to get back to where you were. Unfortunately it seems many car radios have this questionable design these days. If a phone is connected and a call is received, the ring volume is scary deafening and not adjustable, so better not used at all (this is a really stupid fault than anyone would hate). Of course not using the handsfree feature is defeating one of the main reasons for buying this radio. I would imagine that other radios have a means of adjusting the ring volume.

Sound quality was excellent
it was an excellent fit. The sound quality was undescribable compaired to the Pioneer that was in there. So glad I did it.

Kenwood rocks
Kenwood's are still the bomb and this one does not disappoint. Sounds great and fits well in most cars. Big upgrade to my old hooptie car.
