Value for money and easy to install and use.
This product looks lovely, it's stylish, lightweight and works immediately. It was also easy to install. Love the fact that it is solar powered and therefore no additional cost . The light is bright, setting up was easy and it works perfectly. I am extremely happy with this and it's the second one that I have purchased. Its great to see the bright light as someone walks down my drive and I can clearly see who is is coming towards my house.

It actually works!
I am not a fan of those gimmicky items sold on TV. They seem too good to be true and ... they usually are. Full disclosure, I bought these only one month ago. I purchased a pair from Amazon and since I was skeptical about the claims, I did not drill into my brick wall and mount this to the wall. I used zip ties and attached it to my fence. This is under my eve of the roof so it does not get direct sunlight. The housing is plastic and quite flimsy. To be fair, I did not mount this to the wall so I can't actually say the plastic is going to break but the weight of the pivoting light in combination with the solar panel looks like it will cause plastic fatigue and there might be a strong possibility of breakage (in the long term). Fast forward to function; all I can say is that the solar panel works and the light is bright. It has a red blinking light to alert any potential burglars. It functions as a dawn to dusk light. No adjustments for sensitivity or duration. Only the angle of the ball joint and the swivel on the solar panel is adjustable. There is an On/Off slider switch covered with a silicone skin to keep water out. It is bright and stays on for about 20 seconds before turning itself off. Motion sensing is excellent and has a range of about 18 feet. Works to light an outdoor entry door and requires no wiring. I love it. I hope it lasts.Four Months later…Update:It works as intended in summer heat and 20 degree nights. Solar charging during the day then at dusk the red LED light starts to blink - letting you know that motion sensor is active. It’s very bright and effective. It’s so good that I bought three more. I had a fox run through my yard last night and the light startled everyone at the dinner table. When lit, the light pattern is similar to an incandescent spot light. Almost as bright as a 75 watt bulb. Color is cool so if you prefer warm yellow light, this brand might not be the one to choose.

Worked like a charm
I have no lighting near my backyard shed so I bought one of these solar-powered lights. It worked better than expected. Whenever I need to go to my shed at night, it gives me plenty of light. It even scares off the deer from time to time lol. I wasn't sure if it would work as well because my home is surrounded by trees and the sun doesn't shine as brightly in my backyard as it does the front, but I was pleasantly surprised that it charges up just fine despite the trees. Also, we just had a snow storm blow by and once the ice and snow melted I could see that it's still working. I don't know how durable this will be long-term, but so far so good.

Great light for outdoors.
These lights really work. Walking dogs at night and they light up the path.

Good value for the money- they work, are bright, durable
I was a bit weary buying something labeled "as seen on TV", but these really work. I have had them for a few weeks so far, so I can't speak to how they will last a year from now. They are charged from the factory, and they are bright not dim. The motion detection is pretty good- I tested in my house placing them at one end of the living room with the lights off, walking by. They both detected at 20 feet or a bit more, which is good for a motion detection light- most of the ones on the market and that I have tried personally, are not really effective at say 30 feet and beyond. I installed these in my yard, very easy to install with the provided spikes, no tools required. I did not buy these for security, I bought them to try and discourage back yard critters from digging in my yard. I don't think the critters care too much either way, but at least now I can tell when something is crawling around in my back yard at night, if I am awake to see the light go off. The solar panel on top of the unit charges well during the day. They have survived a few rain storms so far. The flashing red light is kind of annoying because I am not using them for security around the house, but an easy fix could be to paint over the red LED or put some tape or something over it. These are a good value for the money, I might buy another pair to give my back yard full coverage at each corner. You could easily mount these on a house wall or roof wood trim, as long as the area gets sunlight during the day. If you park your car outside and it is dark at night or early in the morning, one of these pointing where you park will provide convenient light so you can walk without tripping on something.

Useful under some conditions
Works great till it doesn't.I've had five or six of these and there are a couple design flaws that have convinced me to seek other brands. One just quit working out of the blue only a few months old.Two have been rendered useless by the poor design of the mount. The ball receiver that allows aiming of the light simply cracks into pieces, usually with no provocation. One mounted on the house is still going strong after two years... So maybe that's the answer. Set it up and don't touch it.The last remaining one just broke its mount a couple days ago and so now it's propped against the front door steps but its days are obviously numbered since it's so too heavy it won't stay on place. All suffer from the pointy stake that goes in the ground literally disappearing as soon as you plant it, so moving a stake leaves you with just the tube part that doesn't really work very well. I literally dug up a big hole with a shovel and the stake never turned up! It needs to be made a bit differently.

Works for what I need
I use this light alongside another one I have installed on the front porch. So far, it's working great.
