Excellent book.
I have read every one of his Event series and this one is as outstanding as all the others. Lots of action, very likable characters and a strong story line.

Back to the group!
Much better than the last book! The group actually participated this time in the story! He future looks like there’s a little something going on with Sarah, can’t wait to find out what!

Read It Before
Bummed because when I got this is didn't get a reminder that I had read it before. Got into it a little and realized it was familiar.

Freaking great.
One of the best, so sorry for Virginia and Sarah, had me crying. Damn you go and kill off the people I liked. And elsbeth, I didn't know Randall that well. Missed a lot of books in the series. Keep up the great work.

Good but rushed
Like others have mentioned the book is good for the story, but was rushed to be published. Bad editing, poor word choices, wrong words, and even wrong technical details. Hopefully the next one is better.

Grammatical Problems
I've enjoyed reading all of Goleman's books, including this one. My only reason for giving it a "4 star" rating is the frequent grammatical errors/typos in the book. They seemed to come in batches; maybe the proofreader was napping...

Latest in the series.
I picked this book up because I have read all of the other Event Group stories and I wanted to continue from the cliffhanger ending of the previous installment. It was a slow slog and a seemingly hard sell trying to reintroduce the characters in an overly dramatic fashion. Once the story developed a little, it got better. This was not his best work and he needs to get back to his proven formula that revolved around old legends. Quit making the characters too fantastically wonderful. Three stars just to keep the story going, but please make it about the story, not superhuman characters.

Cannot have been proof read
I love the Event series, this one is terrible. It feels 100 pages short of a novel and the bizarrely rushed end is crammed in to a handful of pages whereas the body is dragged out with pointless side tracks. The grammar and spelling is terrible. Surely this has not been proof read? If it has - that reader should be sacked. Clearly they did not know the difference in Facts and Fact's as the entire text is full of basic errors of that type. Some words are repeated twice in sequence in the same sentence. Frankly it is amateurish. Had this been Goleman's (see I can get it right) first book, we would never have heard of him as he would not have been given the chance to write a second. I would have been better off not having read this. If you are wise you will skip it too.

Read from first book all are excellent
I have read quite a few books by this author and it promises to be a cracker of a read and was delivered in good time.

Another good read
Another good read from the Event Group. Prepare for some shocks. Waiting for the next book.

The worst of the series
Most definitely the worst of this series. Utterly amateurish editing, leaving scores of typos, poor punctuation, spelling blunders as well as factual mistakes (for example, a pentangle has five points, not four). What remains after this sad writing mess is a third-rate story. This is definitely the end of the series for me.
