nice read
This was a nice read and kept you guessing who was the killer. It was entertaining and that’s what I like in a book.

Great Story Needs Better Editing/Proofreading
This is another great story line and full of some new characters who are being added to the group of South Cove.Amy's boyfriend Justin finds the body of the bank manager in the middle of the stage at the winery. True to form Jill is told to stay out of investigation and she just ignores Greg's orders. The story is a lot of fun and I had it narrowed down to two people, and it was the third person and a slightly different motive that threw me.The only problem I had again was with continuity. Bill and Mary Simmons owners of the B&B in the last book were Bill and Mary Sullivan in this book.Jill and Greg talked about getting away for a week end, their first together, and want to go to Napa but in the last book they had gone to Napa and brought back wine. There are other little ones like that but the big one was why was Greg in the middle of the stage and how did the murderer get him there.Still a wonderful series. On to the next book. I am optimistic that the editing will be spot on this time.

Every Book Gets Better
The relationship between Jill and Greg is put to a major test when someone from Greg's past shows up.Of course there's a murder and Greg is stumped. So many people have a reason to kill him. The murderer is a complete surprise, only of course Jill figures it out during an unexpected visit from the doer. Everything comes together at the surprise visit. Greg should listen to Jill more often - but then the series wouldn't be as much fun. This would be a suitable substitute for the Stephanie Plum series. The except Jill isn't caught between between two men.I recommend reading the first three books before reading this as character development starts with them.Love this series.

interesting
Some of the legal things in this book were definitely not legally acceptable but, it is fiction. She drinks enough coffee for three store owners.

Really cute book.
This book was entertaining as it delved more into Jill’s and Greg’s relationship. Jill seems to have some trust issues when it comes to Greg’s relationship with his ex, and especially with his ex trying to get back with him.The one person I couldn’t believe to be the killer wound up being the killer. This is the kind of cozy mystery I love.

Great Mystery
This was one of those books where I thought I could read a little and go to sleep, will I ever learn? At 5 AM I finished this well plotted mystery , I didn't guess the murderer until just before the 'reveal'. I have enjoyed all the books in this series, but I think I liked this one best and I think the reason was the development of Greg and Jill's relationship. I really enjoyed their ease with each other.I love the town of South Cove and it's residents seem to ring true for residents of small-towns with their instant grapevines of gossip. I did think the secondary plot involving Aunt Jackie was both unnecessary and under developed. There was really no need for a sub plot that was quickly resolved and frankly made Jackie look reckless and stupid. But this is just a personal quibble and while I found it distracting I loved the rest of the book enough to overlook it in my grade of the book. This is a great series and I have already pre-ordered the next book which is due in August. I guess that is the best endorsement from this reader.

Easy to read cosy mystery series, highly recommended...
Book 4 in this easy to read, cosy mystery. South Cove, California, is home to Jill and her Coffee, Books and More shop. She's dating Greg, the local Police Detective and she has a habit of getting involved in his investigations into murders which seem to occur in the town.Greg is divorced, but his ex, Sherry, wants him back; so badly, she opens a shop in the town and does everything she can to discredit Jill. When Sherry's new boyfriend gets murdered, Sherry is the prime suspect, and Jill is asked to clear her name!On a separate note, Jill is still waiting to hear if the wall in the house she inherited from a dear friend is of historical significance.I really enjoy reading these books, each one a standalone story. The books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and wider storyline.

Cosy Crime Brilliance
Being the local co-ordinator for the Business to Business group in South Cove, California isn't Coffee, Books, and More owner, Jill Gardner's favourite pastime. She is even less enthusiastic when the owner of the newest store offers to take over hosting the next meeting and other vendors are queuing to get in! It doesn't help that the success is all down to a woman she actively tries to avoid; Sherry is the manipulative ex-wife of Jill’s boyfriend Greg, and is eager to tell anyone who will listen how she will soon be back on the arm of the handsome police detective. When a dead body is discovered with strong links to Sherry, Greg finds himself having to tread very carefully! Jill, as anxious as ever to help him out, gets bad news about a family member and suddenly finds her loyalties split. As she tries to help everyone at the same time will she miss something vital and be unable to save anyone? The fourth Tourist Trap mystery is a great read and I enjoyed every word. The investigations are getting more detailed and the main protagonists never fail to entertain. There is a larger cast of secondary characters this time and Jill definitely had her work cut out to sort everything, as did I and wasn't even close to guessing whodunit this time around. I also love reading the teaser chapter of the following story which has been a feature of all the books so far. This is another great addition to a series which is fast becoming my comfort read. Recommended.

Another fun mystery from Jill Gardner!
This is the 4th book from the series and this time Jill is at the center of another murder. This time the suspect turns out to be her boyfriend's ex-wife, Sherry. The reason why Jill tries to solve the murder this time is too far-fetched since she dislikes Sherry.Even so, the book is still enjoyable.
