Q: How do I open tge container holding the incense?

Just pop it open or twist it, it’s been like 3yrs since I had it. However the price isn’t worth it!!! Sorry I told the truth

Q: Does this burn down to ashes? Also how many should I put in a burner at a time?

It's tar like. You can break each ball into smaller pieces. If you place on coal it will turn to ash, but will not when using an electric set up.

Use an electric incence burner. Drop one tablet and leave it on the burner for approximately 15mins on each side.

I only use electric incense burner. I can assure you it lasts a long time and the aroma lingers for a while.
