I bought a refurbished Dyson V8 Absolute and when I tried to charge it with the included charger, it wouldn’t charge up and the vacuum would actually turn itself on and off in spurts while plugged in. I was disappointed thinking I would have to return the vacuum but decided to try ordering this cord just to check if it’s a faulty charger issue. Sure enough, it charges up great now. One thing to note (reason for 4 stars not 5) is that it doesn’t work with the Dyson dock, so if you’re using the dock be aware you may have to charge the vacuum separately.

I received 2 defective batteries. The first one that came would power on the vacuum as soon as you plugged it in to the charger. The second replacement one would flash red and blue lights and not charge when plugged in. I would skip this one and order a different one. I'm not taking a chance on the 3rd one.

This battery has been installed for 4 months and is now a 3-4 minute use battery. I'll contact the warranty department later to see what they will do; hesitant to get another as it all takes time. So choose wisely when ordering a battery.

When the battery was first installed, it charged and ran without any issue. Within a couple of weeks, the duration of use time dropped considerably and it started showing issues with charging (red flashing light when 'fully charged'). This is not an item I would do a repeat order on.

My vacuum cleaner began to junk, it began to work poorly. I did not immediately understand what was happening, then I took it to a service center. I was told that you just need to change the battery, and offered their own. But I decided to buy it on Amazon, because it turned out to be cheaper. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, no flaws were found. Lightweight, reliable. The battery lasts a long time. Easy to connect. There was no swelling of the battery. It does not overheat during prolonged use.

This product works better than the original Dyson part it replaced. This product does what it claims to do. I like it a lot!

It charges fine however the plug into the vacuum is straight and not angled, rendering it useless if you have a wall mount charger.

I do not trust the reliability of this product. The first one I ordered was dead. I had it replaced and the second one was dead as well. Will not purchase again and would not recommend.
