I made a little rack to be able to sort these in size order
My cheap old guitar had very worn frets. I thought I would have a go at swapping them out. These frets fitted the Strat perfectly and they are very smooth and nice. I have a fret file, and wire wool, but no specialist cutter or fret press tool. The biggest problem is sorting the frets into size order. They are all slightly too long to fit various neck widths, so I drilled 24 holes in a bit of wood and screwed it onto a base. Smoothing the fret ends and levelling them up took a bit of work but it was worth it.
