We were looking for tie backs for our new functional shutters. There are no plans on using the shutters, but they are functional and look great.We needed shutter holders to keep them open.These fit the bill. a good price and look classic.The only complaint is the metal is rather thin and flimsy.On insertion, the metal did bend and could be bent with a small amount of pressure. This might be an advantage for adjustment, but the I am concerned about the longevity of the product.However, it does look good and the price is right.

If you're looking for an inexpensive solution, this is it. The hooks are sturdy, but aren't very thick and anyone taking a close look at your shutters would see that they look cheap. But who's taking that close of a look at your shutters?I didn't like that these had a glossy paint on them. They're very shiny, which takes away from it looks like good cast iron (which they're not.) I ended up returning these in favor of some heavier ones from House of Antiques that cost twice as much.

These are thinner than the original ones on my house but you cannot tell once they are hung. They are also a bit shiny but I fixed that with some flat black spray paint. Very easy to install and they arrived quickly. There are no instructions so you may want to You Tube how to put them up.

I ordered these to hold a mounted ceiling tile on my house. It kept blowing off so these worked perfectly. I had to hire a handyman to install as I have a rock house. Maybe it would have been easier if it had been wood. Looks so cute!

Easy to install...nice finish

Can’t use them. Tried to drill with drill bits for mortar and brick. It’s a no go. Can’t send them back because I don’t have the packaging

They worked for a side window to replace some older ones that had rusted out. These are thinner but were in excellent condition when they arrived and all parts were in the box. Just wish I realized they were a little heftier to match the ones in the front.

We selected these Shutter Dogs because they are consonant with our "Olde New York" style hinges recently installed on our functional shutters. They are well made, easy to install and very well priced. We recommend them for being a quality product and the seller for rapidly responding to our order.
