Honestly the best system I've ever used...
Honestly the best system I've ever used.It has a slight (unavoidable) taste on the first run through. Not a foul taste by any means though.Nice flow rate and adjustable to boot! No leaks. Nice and sturdy. Having the wide opening for filling as well as flipping it inside out for the top rack of the dishwasher is an absolute delight. No more mold or mildew with hard to clean areas!Kept my water cool all day long. By cool I mean chilled (had the bladders themselves in a chill bag with ice on the way to the trail head)! Definitely not for the ultralight folks out there unless they want a little luxury at the expense of a few grams. I didn't notice the weight difference from previous bladders at all.Absolutely thrilled and looking forward to more adventures with this awesome piece of gear.

Love it, but it takes some technique to use
I really love this bladder and use it daily. It really does keep water cold on hot days, is durable and rugged, and best of all doesn't make the water taste like you are drinking out of a hose, something I've never encountered before in water bladders. The top folds like a dry bag, and you have to fold down the outer sleeve to fill it, something that takes a little more effort than a Camelback, so you have to do it a few times before it becomes routine. The reviewers who complaining about water leaking out when you attach the hose with a full bladder of water seem to forget that this will happen with any bag, and makes me wonder why anyone would do such a stupid thing anyways. I am mostly satisfied with mine, and would buy one again, especially if they used more appropriate colors. My one and only problem with this bladder is the bite valve. Though it functions perfectly, for some reason they chose to use turquoise blue, a color I hate and one that does not belong in the wilderness. It draws my attention while hiking, and clashes obnoxiously with my outdoor surroundings. I'm having problems trying to find replacements that will fit since the tube is a little wider than most. If not for the bite valve, I would give it five stars. But turquoise blue with otherwise low impact colors? what were they thinking?

A little expensive, but pretty good product
Fits my specific application perfectly. Good manufacturing quality. Seems like a good design. Question how tough the hydration bladder is going to be compared to MSR dromedary, but I'm sure it'll work for a while.

It gets 3 stars because of how difficult the process is to refill this bag.
The top is a bit of a pain to use because of the way the slide mechanism works. The hoses pull off easily which is good and bad. Easy for cleaning but bad for when your trying to remove or install into the cooling pouch. I really like how the hose is designed but it's also a few inches too short for bothe of the back pack that I use. I really like the concept of this product but even the cooling pouch has issues. The opening for the hose is too small to easily remove and install hose when assembling the bag that I often find myself struggling and making a mess because the hose comes off. In the end I can't recommend this product.

Worth it!
Bought this to keep my water cool while on my day hikes and it definitely does the job. The design and quality are great, the tube can easily be removed and snaps back on to the bladder without much effort. The bladder itself is tough and well-made. My only issue, the tube doesn’t always stay cool and water can get warm. Still highly recommend.

Great hydration reservoir and insulating sleeve
I have seen other reviews saying they only got the insulation sleeve, my order came exactly as the product description. It came with the insulating sleeve, hydration bladder, and tube that connects to the bladder. I did not have any issues with the tube coming undone from the bladder, it locks into the receiver. I also bought the Artic insulated tube since these will be used for winter sports and have had no issues with it as well. Very happy with my purchase so far.

could not insert in a backpack's reservoir sleeve without the hose popping off the hose barb
I had hoped to use this reservoir for a series of lengthy hikes in warm weather. I found that inserting it into the reservoir sleeve of my backpack invariably resulted in the hose pulling off the hose barb, spraying water inside my pack.I then tried using the internal ShapeShift reservoir without the HydraSleeve insulation layer. The same thing happened -- the hose pulled off the hose barb. This happened with both the supplied insulated hose and with the optional Arctic insulated hose.I purchased and installed a stainless steel hose clamp, which solved the problem but created a large lump which I feared would damage my backpack's reservoir sleeve. The standard, non-insulated, hoses seem to grip the hose barb more tightly and would probably be much less likely to pull off during insertion or normal use. Also they are smooth, skinny and highly flexible whereas the insulated hoses have a very rough surface, are relatively thick, and are fairly stiff.I would not use this product with an insulated hose without doing something to make certain the hose doesn't accidentally pull off.

Great
This thing is tough. I use it in an enclosed shell. I use to use a homemade insulator for my water bladder, but this thing is much tougher. The insulation seems good too. The top is easily attached to some post.

Great replacement bladder and sleeve, for backpacks.
No leaks. Insulating sleeve keeps liquid cool. It is not a cooler. Slides nicely into the backpack I have that has a water bladder section. Easy and neat filling with large opening to accept ice cubes. .

Strong construction, good insulation
keeps my water drinkable [warm but drinkable], under constant hit of 37celcius during my 3h cycling training. I have it inside my bag to be fair, but anything else whould have made my water into steam. I have a worry about the connector with the hose, but so far no leakage happened.
