I love love love this laundry detergent. It's so easy to use for hand washing. I don't use it in machines. It's very good for sensitive skin and doesn't cause rashes when you're swishing around your clothes while handwashing. Sometimes you need to use another capful if you are doing a big load. I never use regular detergent anymore. This company has changed my life!

I really liked this the first few uses and I got away with less than recommended after the initial wash. I really wanted it to help remove the damp odor from my towels. It seemed to do a great job the first few times and now it doesn't. Not sure why my towels suddenly have this odor. Thinking it's related to weather changes but I don't know. Seems like nothing will help. This soap would get 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive because all and all it is really nice and works well for cleaning and brightening, even really dirty stuff. Could get sweat smell out of really bad t-shirts a little better, but sometimes it's just time to replace them I think. I like the light and fresh natural citrus scent also, and I'm sensitive to smells. If it was around $15, which is still a lot for something that only washes 40 or so loads, I'd buy again, but at $20-$35, depending when I've looked, as it has gone up considerably, I won't buy again.

I'm in the military and my cloths can get pretty ripe after 18-24 hour work day. Using standard detergents, like tide, failed to remove the sweat /mildew smell out of my clothing and towels. Not even the fabreeze laundry additive worked to remove the smell from my clothing.After I got the detergent in the mail, I was shocked at how small this detergent bottle was and I was immediately skeptical about how well it would work.I bought it at 18 dollars so I decided to see if it's claim was true.Using 2 caps of the detergent for 2/3 of a medium sized washing machine filled of clothing, my clothing no longer had that sweat smell I was accustomed to smelling after a single wash. I know 18 dollars feels like a lot, but quality detergent is something I highly recommend for those that have bad smelling clothing due to sweat or bacteria build up.I got the sports version of this detergent and I'm a fan of smelling good.I recommend this for people whom smell terrible and have terrible smelling clothing even after multiple washes...I know you know those type of people and they will benefit from this product.

Pricey for the volume, but pretty effective. I have some workout clothes that I thought might be beyond rescue (I am a workout nut, and live in the South, I live in an apt complex with old, overpriced and not so great washing machines so can't do laundry on a whim = sweat soaked clothes sitting in a closed bag for a week - not a good combo). I also try to steer clear of harsh chemicals and scents which is why I chose this over the other (Nathan's I think?)Will be hand washing workout gear more often now and using this - at this point it has gotten rid of maybe 75% of the stank - a strong start for a wash or two. Hopeful that with better care and a few more washes they might be fully restored. I guess I don't care that much, the improvement already was worth it but my wife and the other gymgoers might be happy!

after hearing such rave reviews of this product online I purchased this to keep my gym clothes fresh. Well I go the sweet tea scent because folks raved about how good it smelled. It smelled like pine sol to me. I used two small cap fulls to wash my gym clothes and the citrus smell was still in the clothing when I put them in the dryer, so I thought that was refreshing. However, I was not convinced that this cleaned my clothes better than Method brand (that is not specifically for gym clothes). some of the articles of clothing still smelled sweaty. i tried another sweaty and stinky load...this time using 3 capfuls. It turned out like a charm. The clothes have just a hint of citrus out of the dryer. This bottle will last a long time because it's super concentrated, but I am concerned that in order to get the desired results from this product i have to use more capfulls that advertised. Overall it is a good product.

This detergent works better than other environmental friendly detergent products I've tried, and I'll likely order this again. I initially bought this product to deal with strong odors starting to attach to my athletic clothes. After putting them through a few loads with Roux Maison detergent, the smell was better but the "damp" odor (for lack of a better description) was still there, just a bit more faint. I'm wondering whether the smell would have been fine if I had used this from the start when these clothes were new. I'll post back in the future how this goes as I get the chance to use this on new items from the start. Until then, I'll probably continue to search for other detergents that are both environmentally friendly yet strong enough to clear odors from athletic gear.

I like the smell, and I think it does work significantly better for tough odors than the other natural detergents I have tried. However, it does not work well in my top loading washer. It just doesn't evenly distribute throughout the load. I even did smaller loads than normal and layered the detergent to try to help it spread. But still only the clothes near where I put the detergent get clean and everything else still smells so I don't think they were cleaned. I've started mixing it in with my regular detergent as a booster (I don't just want to throw it out) and putting some on the bottom and some on the top, and the entire load gets clean. It probably works great in other types of machines, and it definitely worked well on the clothes it touched!

We live in a very hot, humid climate. We do a lot of yard work in the summer. Our clothes get very smelly from sweat and body oils. Sometimes our sheets smell too.Just 2 cap fulls of this amazing product really does remove all of the odors.I even took old work clothes out of the closet that have been sitting with odor in them and washed them with 4 cap fulls and they also came out odor free.Remarkable product.
