Souper Cubes are fantastic!
I previously owned lesser quality portioned silicone trays. Filling them frequently meant a mess over the counter, because they would collapse as I filled them. And, maddeningly, I was unable to stack them in the freezer because the weight of the second top tray would collapse the bottom tray. Since I don't have unlimited space in my freezer, this negated the entire reason for buying them, since I had to wait until one tray was fully frozen to place the second tray into the freezer. I do not have either problem with the Souper Cubes, at all!The Souper Cubes are wonderful! The silicone is of excellent quality and there is an internal metal frame that means these trays do not collapse when filled, nor when stacked upon each other when placing in the freezer. They completely hold their shape no matter what you put in them and when you stack them! Absolutely no sagging, drooping, or spilling trays!I have purchased the 2-cup and the 1-cup trays and I love them both, although I find I use the 2-cup trays most often. I have, so far, made soups (Cajun Chicken, Sausage with Wild Rice Soup, Spicy Bean with Bacon Soup and French Onion Soup), chili, spaghetti and meat sauce, and taco meat, then used my Souper Cubes to freeze and store them. I can either keep them in the Souper Cubes or drop them out, once frozen solid, into storage bags so I can reuse the Souper Cube trays.I find the 1-cup trays are great for those times I make too much of something, like sautéing up a whole onion and only needing half of it, or making too much wild rice or rice pilaf. It's great to be able to compactly freeze and store the leftovers, so a night I merely want to sauté a salmon fillet I can add rice pilaf (or whatever) as a side. And the next time I need sautéed onions I already have it. It's also good for small portions when I just want a snack.Cleaning the Souper Cubes couldn't be easier. I pop them into the dishwasher and they come out perfectly clean, without a sign of discoloring, even when I've stored tomato-based sauces for weeks in them. For those who have Instant Pots, you know that the silicone ring can take on a horrible smell. Well, the best way to prevent ANY smell to silicone, I've found, is to simply pop them into the dishwasher with Cascade Platinum. I don't know why, but it removes ALL smells from silicone. Case in point, I have an Instant Pot and only 1 silicone ring, and I cook constantly, yet no matter how stinky it goes into the dishwasher it comes out without a smell. Lessor dishwasher soaps don't do it. (In fact, I put the entire lid of my Instant Pot into the dishwasher so I don't have to hassle with taking the silicone ring out and putting it back; it works and leaves the lid sparkling clean and in perfect condition.)I've seen complaints from people who apparently do not know how ice cube trays work and are unable to get their frozen food out of the Souper Cubes. So a little primer here, simply let your Souper Cube filled with food sit on the counter for 15 seconds to 1 minute and it will pop out easily. If you can't wait, simply run the bottom under running warm water for 1-2 seconds.

Easy freeze
These silicone molds with built-in measuring lines make freezing a breeze. I have always used Tupperware containers, plastic bags, or glass jars to freeze soups, broths, or tomato sauce and I'm glad I found this product. It is so easy to load up and freeze whatever you want; pop it out of the mold and into the storage container of your choice. Very easy to clean. The built-in wire makes the product very sturdy and stackable. No more freezing in plastic or risking glass jars breaking during the freezing process. I highly recommend this product

So Much Better for Defrosting than Ziplocs
I was on the fence about getting these at first because of the price but now I'm sold on them. I first bought one of these for my sister for Christmas and she loved it.I was freezing things in Ziplocs but defrosting was a hassle. I would freeze my soup or stew flat but that meant defrosting it on a plate and then transferring it to a bowl. Very annoying. Sometimes the Ziplocs would leak too and there'd be a mess in my freezer. With these, I can pour in whatever I've cooked and put it in the freezer. When everything is frozen, popping the food out is very easy and it all comes out cleanly since the tray is a soft, yet sturdy, silicone. You don't have to ask yourself how the heck you're going to pry out your frozen food. I can fit about three of the 2-cup size cubes into a gallon-sized Ziploc.I bought two of these and it's a great amount for me. I batch cook for one. The two-cup size is a good amount to fit enough food into a regular sized bowl. I can grab one of the cubes, put it into a bowl, pop it in the microwave, and have a quick full dinner.

These are very nice and convenient
I like to prepare some things in advance and freeze them for later use. I tried the Super Cube Silicone Trays for Chicken Stir Fry and fruit smoothies to send to someone after getting out of the hospital. They froze very nicely! I removed them without any problem and placed the frozen cubes in gallon ziploc bags to transport them. The trays are very nice and work very well! I recommend giving them a try! I think next time I make up advance items I might cut it in half so it is not so much at one time being defrosted. The clean up was perfect, no issues with staining or cleaning them. Lids fit tight and secure.
