TYR SPORT Women's Solid Halter Controlfit Swimsuit

This is a decent suit and I really love the light blue color. It is well constructed and I appreciate the clasp to open the keyhole in the back for more room when putting in on or taking it off. It also has a lining inside for an additional layer. I bought several TYR suits at once in anticipation of adding swimming to my workout routine. I found this one to be the most bulky, which might slow down someone who is a more serious swimmer. It seems like it would be a good buy for someone who is looking for a suit that can go from light workouts in a pool to hanging out at the beach, but may not be the best choice for the intense swimmer.

Very good material, and very good design. Sholder staps are comfortable and stay in place.I am 5'5" and 145lbs. I didn't know what size would fit me best, so I bought the size 10 and 12. I returned the 10 easily and got a full refund.The size 10 had fit my body very well, but was too short, so the straps hurt my sholders way too much. So I went with the size 12 which was cut to my height, but was loose on my breasts. However, I fixed that a bit by pinching the elastic band under the breasts and sewing it. It doesn't show at all because it's separate from the outer material layer. It just looks and feels much better.I've swam in it in the pool about 5 or 6 times now, 2 hours each time, and rinsed and dried it afterwards. It has retained both it's fit and color.

This is a very well made swimsuit. I ordered a size 22 and there are a few fit issues that I am not comfortable with. The underarms are cut very low, I would prefer more coverage and think it would be more attractive. Also, the front leg area is cut a little too high. All in all a good suit, but think a few design changes are in order for a plus size fit.

I liked the quality of the fabric. I also liked how the back straps held the suit up when you were doing water aerobics. But the leg bands were too big causing the bottom of the suit to ride up. I made a tuck with a needle and thread to take in the extra material in the leg band. This helped make the suit fit better.

I have used the suit a few times and I am very happy with it. I purchased it for underwater photography work so I wanted something that would be modest and stay in place when I moved around - this works perfectly. I am on the short side (5ft 2) so many one piece suites I try are too long in the torso, most reviewers for this suit felt this one was short in the torso and I agree with them and that was just what I needed. I would purchase again

I am 5'3" and 160-62 lbs. I ordered a 14 and it was too long in the torso and a bit too wide. I think a 12 would've worked better. The color was beautiful but didn't camouflage my rolls as good as a dark color would've. :) The lining was a nice addition, but I didn't really care for the cut on the breast area. The coverage was nice and modest!

Arrived on time about a month ago.Very well made. My measurements are bust-47, waist-40, hips-43, height-5'3". I ordered size 18 to make sure my bust would not bulge out. Fits fine in chest, waistline is perfect, hip area has room to grow, but I am loosing weight. Keep in mind I have only lot 5 lbs. I will need to purchase smaller size very soon. Should have taking other reviewers advice and ordered 1 size smaller.

This suit is a bit snug. Loosing 20 lbs didn't put my wife far enough into this size to keep it from riding up during a swim, (her words) being of "ample booty" she doesn't like the narrow width of the crotch. I needs to be adjusted during each swim so that she feels comfortable and no, she won't do flip turns in it.

Awful suit. I was excited to find it online, but such a disappointment. There were awful foam pads for the bust that crumpled, was short in the torso, and just didn't fit well. The only thing nice was the colour.
