Shoreline Marine Propel Wooden Canoe Paddle

Exactly what I wanted- we painted these and hung them on wall. Painted well with no problem. I'm sure they would have been great for water but my purchase was for decrative reasons. Would buy again!

This paddle is more than suitable for our needs. We just wanted an extra paddle for our 8 year old to use when we take the canoe out. Mind you, he isn't interested in paddling all the time so we aren't too picky. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It's a sturdy paddle that will be good for decor or light use. The printing on the paddle is smeared but it doesn't bother us. I'll update this review after we take it out on the water. Right out of the box, however, we're happy that we got what we paid for!

DO not rely on this paddle to do serious paddling. Best use for this piece of wood is to hang on a wall and remind you about days past by. As mentioned by many other true reviewers can't imagine this item in action. It will be a lesson hard learned. It does nave a life span of a few water trips if any and which also will be depend on the paddler. One can clearly see a cracks filled with cheap fillers, or whatever they are and even they do not match the color of the wood. This product making company shroud go to Home Depot and at least get their wood fillers putty instead of using their own bubble gums.

Paddles are what they said they were. Ordered them for office decoration (totally copied from another buyer who got these). Handle is a little different and not as tapered as it is in the picture but that's fine.

My wife ordered these paddles as a decoration, which is why she chose the least expensive alternative. I was shocked when they arrived, and were well made, fully functional paddles. I would not hesitate to use these with my canoe on the lake, and intend to order several just to have them on hand as spares.

I ordered a paddle for my wedding for people to sign on it. The first one I ordered had a broken handle. The replacement also was defective. It had a large crack on the entire paddle. This is not the worst part. The company knew of the crack and put putty along the length of the paddle as their “fix”. It’s safe to say I will be returning this paddle as well and ordering through another company.

The only good thing about this is that it came fast. The paddle itself arrived scuffed all over and the end of the handle is broken. The piece that broke off isn't even in the box so I can't glue it back on. See pictures.

First one was completely cracked...second still cracked. We are using these for decoration only. If you buy to actually use you will be up s#@t creek without a paddle!

The paddles arrived in three packages. One big enough for all four, it only had one paddle. The other three were bundle two in basically cardboard box flattened at shipping point and taped. The packaging was not damaged. The handle as is shown on the one was broken, and I can't use it. I paint paddles and sell them, won't sell a broken paddle, Second issue is they only show one side of the paddle, their logo is stamped as large life on the back. Most paddles I buy direct and get unfinished - no varnish - no logo or a very small logo. I will be sanding this logo off.

Really enjoyed these, used them as Art pieces!
