Moomin Builds a House (Moomin Colors)

I have this book to thank for teaching my toddler the phrase "pestilential misfit" and there is some gender-typed language and roles in the book, but man, nothing captures the imagination like the Moomins and Little My. We have misplaced the book and my daughter still asks for it constantly, months later. If I can't find it I may actually have to buy it again. It's presented in graphic novel form, and suitable for younger children who might still be frightened (there is nothing to be afraid of in this book) by the longer books, or not yet be able to sit still for that long. Tove Jansson is a genius, and those of you who don't yet know the Moomins are in for a treat.

The illustrations are so cute, and the story is sweet.

実は、ムーミンの本を同じお店から２冊注文したのですが、こちらだけ数日遅れて届きました。ただ、お店に問い合わせたら、とても丁寧に対応して下さったので、安心して買い物することができました。絵本も、オールカラーで思ったとおりのかわいさです。シリーズで揃えたくなりました。
