This is an absolute rip-off of a product. I wanted to buy a red version of a rope leash similar to aCoolrunner Pet Dog Whisperer Cesar Slip Training Leash Lead Collar (Blue) Sold by: Coolrunner which has proven to be a terrific and reasonably priced dog walk solution. The product is a perfect example of "when you buy cheap, you buy twice." This is just a step up from a shoestring, shipped from China, and it took forever to get delivered by some unidentified shipping company.Further, I ordered the Coolrunner Pet Dog Whisperer Cesar Slip Training Leash Lead Collar (which appears only to be available in the robust blue version I purchased). That product was delivered the next day after order, but the 2013newestseller Ped Dog Whisperer Slip leash took almost 3 weeks to be delivered from China.Do not buy this product. Buy the real thing, not this cheezy knock-off.

Very disappointed that the first time I used the leash, the loop of the handle suddenly came apart, and my dog could have easily just run away from me. He barely pulled against the leash and the loop of the handle just popped apart. I was initially very happy about the feel, color, sturdiness and overall (what I thought was nice quality) at first. It is a great concept, but the handle failed. This is particularly dangerous for someone attempting to teach their dog to walk without pulling - it took one unexpected pull and fell apart in my hand. Too bad.

I bought these for a large group[p of people who train dogs and the reviews were less than positive for some. However, there were some who were grateful for a lead they could put in their pocket. its nice on the hand.

The first time I used this I noticed that the join at the handle was horrible. If my dog (60 pound mutt) were to pull on the leash would have come apart. I'll update with a picture in a day or so.

At first I really loved this leash.. but then it broke after the second time using it. I read in the reviews of some that it had happened to them but I was hoping they just got a bad one. My dog doesn't pull and isn't a large dog and the leash separated from the black part of the handle. I am really disappointed. I like the idea of it so I am going to try and find something similar with better reviews.

As an animal rescuer I find rope slip leads as the quickest way to secure an animal on the loose or one that is nervous. This rope was thinner than what I expected which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Other than that it's a nice lead

I work with a rescue group and we use these to secure puppies. For the price, it's great. I would not be using this lead on a large adult dog though unless you double leash them.

The material is not what I thought. It's also a lot thinner than I thought it'd be. I have a 70 pound American Pit Bull Terrier and when he had pulling issues he broke this no problem
