I use these when I am riding and experience a flat. Works perfectly (when used with the cartridge of course) for inflating the replaced tube. Very pleased.

I use this for an emergency tire flat kit. It fits in my glove box with some c02 tanks at the ready.

Simply leaks aur after one use so you waste a cartridge

This says it works with both threaded and non-threaded 16g CO2 cartridges, but it did not work with my cartridges because it could not pierce the top seal. The container was deep enough that it did not come into contact with the piercing tip at all. I added a washer to the bottom of the container to shim it up, and extend the cartridge tip up far enough to be pierced, and now it works as it should. I have not noticed any leakage after piercing, so that is a plus. I really prefer the push button over other designs using a hand valve.One odd thing I noticed is that there is no seal where are the cartridge seats. I would guess if you threaded a cartridge in it will probably leak down the threads.

According to questions and inquiries that I read before purchasing, there is no need for an o-ring. There will be a brief loss of CO2 as you tighten the cover down; you must continue without hesitation. Carried this for backup, but when I actually needed it, the leakage never stopped even after tightening down the outer cover completely. Later, tried several more cartridges which all experienced the same thing. All of the CO2 continued to leak out the bottom vent hole in the cover very quickly until empty. Can not recommend the product at all. Should be a zero-star option.
