The light numbing stops my hubs from chewing on his lip and lets the sores heal. It has kind of turned into a threat in my household to go grab it because it works so well. His dentist and I approve, he hates it.

Does not last long
Chemo has created several problems and the mouth sores are one of the worst. I got this because I cannot use any lozenges that are for mouth pain as they have some strong stuff in them - I got this to be able to pint point the areas that hurt the most - well WOW did it burn and numb, the burning wore off after a few minutes, but the pain relief only lasted about 20 minutes - that was a total bummer because I can't see myself using this ever 20 minutes.
