This is very well designed and well made. I can see a lot of attention was given on how well it fits against a door without scratching the surface. Correct size drill bit and correct size screw head were provided for your electric drill to compete the installation within 5 minutes. Because the depth of the base plate is a little large (2.5” in depth), I added a strip of wood under the front edge of the base plate. The material is solid. It is worth the money knowing that no one can ever break in through the front door in the night while I am at home.

Great communication and excellent product!!! I would say to get (ONLY at LOWE'S), the Toggler 5/16" All-Purpose Concrete + Drywall (holds up to 1025 lbs) screws in a plastic green and gray package. You'll get 20 screws and anchors. MORE than what you'll need but completely worth the extra $7.00 or $8.00 that will will cost you. Again, COMPLETELY WORTH getting these anchor and screws. I actually spoke with the owner of the business that makes the OnGARD and HE didn't even know how well this would work. I will say to get two or three 5/16 concrete titanium drill bits as you WILL go through 2 or 3 of them (like I did), to screw through the hard concrete that I have. But completely worth the investment to keep those potential thieves from getting into your home! Hope this info helps.

an expensive product that doesnt work

Solid piece that fits into base that is anchored all the way down into the concrete slab! Video was impressive. Burglars may go elsewhere since they can't easily kick in my door
