hard to install as you have to put in the ring very low. recommend you dont try to self install. but once the rubber gasket is in it works great and PROTECTS YOUR PUMP from low water.

It was what we were looking for. It is available at pool supply stores and hardware stores at double the price what we pain on amazon. Reason we purchased.
