Great book
I really liked this book for its ease if reading and the way it flowed. Easy to follow and I love the concept. Look forward to reading more from this author.

Calm down...
Well done. I have enjoyed and benefited from every volume in this series. It is an excellent blend of humor and "serious" advice. Mostly it is so accessible.

Fast read, just okay.
Not really what I was expecting. Could have been written better.

Think Deeper
I truly enjoyed this book. It’s not enough to just read the chapter. You must study what it is that he’s saying in order to apply it to your own life. Those that have surface level thinking will consider it “a book of memories with no depth”. Study the chapters and apply what he’s saying to a moment in your life. This book has helped me calm down and be more at peace with my life. I love it!

Repetitive
Repetitive, just points out various situations where you are looking to the future when you think things will be better and putting off life. No really suggestions to change things. Basically what most Buddhist books say in a more modern tone.

Wasted money
I bought into the title of the book expecting some real, down-to-earth teaching, and it turned out to be one thought blown up into a book full of useless memories and no substance. The author describes his memories - congrats, now he and 6 more people are happy! These 30 min I've spent on reading I'll never get back, as well as 5 bucks I wasted.

Low Energy.
Very disappointing book to put it mildly. The book feels like it was rushed, words just tossed out to get the book finished, regardless of quality. Also, it was extremely disappointing that the author chose to take a political cheap shot. Low energy. Low class. If someone is willing to stoop this low in one area, can they be trusted in any other area? No.

Amusing!
I am enjoying this, it’s ideal to have on my phone for when I’m waiting for my meal to arrive, sitting waiting for an appointment. Small chapters, easy to stop and start. Highly recommend!👍

Not counterintuitive as per the other F book - intuitive and a more real.
Not giving a … - or just reducing the things that trigger you - well, this book takes things to a whole new level of accepting things as they are.Very, very therapeutic and in the end - relaxing to the soul.

John Parkin and Then Some
John Parkin has done it again. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, he takes it to another level - Level 3. With his unique blend of wisdom, normality, charm and humour, he manages to deliver a profound message, simply. No mean feat given the subject matter. Using his own personal life experiences, he has a brilliant knack of making me think that it’s me he’s talking about – and he is. As I read, I found myself thinking, “This could be me writing this.” My copy is marked, ‘Me!’ on nearly every chapter heading in Level One. And I think everybody will find something in this book that screams, “That’s me!” It is a book for everyone. Having read all his previous books, I know he has spent most of his life studying and practicing the worlds’ great teachings – he knows his spiritual stuff. But being a great teacher himself, he encapsulates the message in a simple, understandable and accessible way. It reinforces the state of relaxing, letting go, accepting, being open, being peaceful, going for it, watching, breathing, meditating, loving. For me, this book is John Parkin and then some. This book frees me from the burden of all that and all the other positive, goody-goody, I-must-be-perfect-in-everyway modes of being. For me, it allows me to have my faults. It allows me to make mistakes. It allows me to be me, just the way I am. It really allows me to be at peace with life just the way it is.
