Tru-Fire Synapse Hammer Throw Release - Red SYN-R

This is my 1st thumb-trigger release.It has, nearly instantly, improved my groupings.Great weight, and infinitely adjustable - it is all one expects from the description.The lanyard anchor hole is too small for passing 750 paracord through, though.All-in-all - superb.

Coming from Scott index release with both wrist wrap and molded grip, and I really like the feeling with this thumb release. Great weight that gives it a great grip sensation. Using 3 fingers config. Tried the fourth finger but more comfortable with 3. Had to tune draw length and d-loop and get proper anchor points to have it work effectively. There's clearly a learning curve using it.

Switched from an index finger wrist-strap release to the Synapse and love it. Very crisp and easily adjustable to fit your hand. I hate creep so I set mine to none and that’s exactly what it does. No movement, then the shot. Liked it so much I immediately bought a second one to replace the one I thought I dropped in the woods in the dark. Turns out I t was in my pack the whole time so now I have two and I’m keeping them both.

This is my first thumb release. I wanted to see if accuracy changed by switching. This release is completely adjustable which was nice for me as I couldn’t get a good feel for it at first. After shooting and playing with it for about an hour I found a position that fit my hand well. It does take some getting used to but overall I am shooting smaller groups. My concern is the noise, when it releases there is an audible click. We will see next hunting season if it becomes an issue. Overall good first release for someone who wants to switch over from the wrist straps.

Just about Robbin hooded my carbon arrow… if it had not had a nock collar in it I’m positive it would have split it wide open…. Defiantly increased my accuracy at 25 yards… busted the nock within the first 15 shots of using this new release. Safe to say I’ll be putting away my wrist release for a while now.

I bought these through the Amazon Renewed option and generally speaking this was a great find at a very reasonable price. It fits well into my hand and is very solidly built. I have a very heavy pull back and so far I have not had any issues with it misfiring. Honestly, the issues I have are 1: the extra forth finger attachment was not in the package, and 2: the labeling for the tension and travel seems to have been worn off. Nevertheless, a bit of research cleared that up. Even without the forth finger attachment, it is still very comfortable for me to pull back and hold with, I just wish that I could have rated this at a 4.5 or 4.75.

I like the different finger possibilities and that you can set the release tension.
