Works perfectly, bought to fix Xbox
My Xbox Series X was overheating a lot. I replaced the thermal paste and the thermal pads with these thermal pads and the fan has not kicked into overdrive since.Very easy to install, great quality, and seems to work perfect.

Pricy but good
I got these 1.5mm pads to re-pad a FE 3080 Ti. Hopefully this review shows up on all pad thicknesses as I originally purchased 2mm pads based online guides and videos. I got my card March 26 2022, it seems the heatsink has changed, see another review with the same hypothesis. The core was not making much contact to the heatsink with 2mm pads, memory temps were amazing but the core was thermal throttling at the desktop. I had used a manual spread method for the paste and only the very center about a dime size had made any contact. I ordered the 1.5mm pads and now I have memory temps about 15-20c cooler and the core peaks at 70c under full load. I used 3mm pads on the back but 2mm might work as I can see a bit of bulge on the backplate, I used a 1mm pad on the NVDD on the back as it seemed the stock super thin pad wasn’t making much contact after adding the 3mm pads.I had some trouble with a couple of the pads not wanting to stick, however most held in place, it seemed to be related to the material it was on, RAM and PCB had no issues, the NVDD didn’t stick very well, it was just a minor inconvenience though.I wish these pads were a bit cheaper especially considering I wasted money and time with the 2mm pads. At least they are cheaper than fujipoly pads

They are effective, but the packaging is not the best
The pads are soft, which you want when placing heatsinks on the chips and effective! But the problem is it comes simply packaged in the equivalent as a heavy card-stock envelope that is only slighly larger than the pad itself. THis lends itself to the edges all getting compressed, making an already small pad, smaller. The Gelid folks should put small bends in the cardboard or better yet, place an equally thick plastic border around the pad to maintain consistent thickness. If you need to use the whole pad for your project, you may have to buy two (depending on how gingerly the packages were handled in delivery).

WORKS GREAT FOR 3090 REPAD!
4 Years later I finally did the repad and besides being WAY more expensive than I thought they would be these worked great! I followed the online guides and you can see by my user benchmark results it works so don't be scared!Note these ones to get more mushy when used and if you want to remove them from your GPU later you must heat the GPU up first or you risk difficulty and damage!

really good thermal pads
Really good quality thermal pads

Used for 3090, I like it
For this project you only need 3 of these thermal pads. 4 if you think you may mess up but I honestly don't think you will if you are careful. they are on the expensive side so... 3 is fine!!When it comes to cutting, I removed product from package but did not take off the film on either side and I placed this on a piece of cardboard to avoid cutting into your table or mat.I found that using the corner of a razor blade worked best to break through then slide. The thermal pads are maluable but not crumbly and with enough force will break so be careful.. The picture I included shows my placement before I put them on.Personally I kinda hate the cost because it's one thermal pad for each box .. Hopefully it will help extend my gpu's lifespand. Will update if anything changes. The person who said the pads are hard to get off from the board has never worked with thermal pads. It breaks apart when trying to remove.

There are better thermal pads for less but these still work great
It's not that there is anything wrong with these pads. I used them on 2 external Asus ROG USB-C m.2 enclosures for my Xbox series x and they definitely lowered the temperature of the drives by a couple of degrees Celsius.I also took apart my 2080ti FTW3 Ultra before selling it because I upgraded to a 3080ti FTW3 Ultra. I put the pads I had left over on the GPU RAM and VRM's (power delivery) then because the card has thermal sensors everywhere I was able to see the difference in temps. Now the card was already pristine so I wasn't expecting much but temps where I used the pads dropped by 3-4 degrees Celsius which in turn allowed me to overclock the core another 20mhz due to cooler VRM's and the memory another 300mhz for a total of +170 core +1300 mem. Then I tested with a bunch of demanding games as well as a couple that are very sensitive to overclocking and they ran perfectly..In fact they worked well enough that I put them in my 3080ti FTW3 Ultra. Well actually I replaced the ones already in it because these performed better. The only issue I have with them is the price to quantity ratio. You don't get very much thermal pad for your money. So it's hit or miss and it really depends on what you want to spend.Personally I'm going to try and find a brand that is a little thicker, basically as thich as 1 of these and then half of one on top. I'd also like more total pad. You don't get much with these so make sure you know what you need and buy based on square inches.Who knows... I might end up right back where I started and buy more of this one.
