Easy to put together. Sturdy and doesn't wobble. It's very spacious and everything look perfect. No gaps or paint chipping that i can see. Works for everything i could want: gaming, writing, etc. from what i can tell everything was labeled nicely and all pieces were accounted for.

I bought this desk as a replacement for my 15 year old son's old plastic warped desk. This desk is really nice! First, I was very please that it arrived a week before it was scheduled to arrive. It came in two boxes, making it easier to bring upstairs as each box was lighter than if was all packed in one box. All in all, it was about 100 pounds.The instructions are well written/illustrated, concise and and pretty easy to understand. They do lack some detail in places, but fortunately if you just take your time and think through the illustrations, etc., you should have little problem assembling the desk. Everything, including the screws is very well labled and logical.The laminate imitation Mahogany wood covers up some of the holes pre-drilled in the desk. So just be a bit careful before you start to read the instructions all they way through first. Also, the instructions do tell you to look at the laminate and make sure you take the included Phillips screwdriver and carefully punch through the laminate indentations where there are holes for the screws, etc. I did not do that at first, and it cost me extra time figuring out where some holes lined up, as the holes were covered up by the laminate.After I got the hang of it, everything else went smoothly. This is a well designed desk, and you'll find it to be very attractive and sturdy once you finish building it. The entire process took me about 4 hours, with a few breaks, so the assembly time is not too bad at all.The laminate wood grain and color are very attractive and this desk makes a very nice, attratcive addiiton to my office and where my son does his homework, plays his X-box, etc.All in all, I am very pleased with this desk. For the money, it is a very good deal.PWN

First, when all is said and done, the product looks great and they clearly went to great lengths to provide good instructions, they separated and labeled parts excellently, and I'm quite happy with the end product. I rated it down one notch for a couple of reasons (maybe picky). First, I didn't know to expect two boxes and they arrived three days apart which cause me minor confusion. Second, it took me a bit more to understand how to interpret their instructions. The images are small (for me, at least) and it led to some confusion about direction of certain parts, until I got to understand their approach better. Also, I've never seen holes so much smaller than the bolts and screws going in them - it works great, it just threw me at first. I've assembled many items in my life, and I've actually built some things from scratch (aka not a kit). Still, it did take me about two and a half hours to assemble, not rushing. Still, I do love the product!

We ordered 4 of these desks for our computer room. The packaging quality was great.. only 2 pegs damaged in shipping, which I fixed with a bit of super glue. No other significant damage out of the 8 boxes. Parts were easily labeled, hardware was packaged in separate clearly-labeled bags, instructions were easy to follow. It even comes with a decent small screwdriver (though it is often easier on the hands to use a larger one). It took probably 2-3 hours per desk to assemble, and my hands are pretty sore.. but I had very few issues and the furniture seems very sturdy and looks great. My only minor complaint is that the keyboard tray is just a couple centimeters small for my keyboard (Apple keyboard with 10-key) and mousepad next to each other; and that the keyboard tray doesn't lock in place in the pulled-out position, which my last desk did and I got accustomed to. I'll make it work. Overall we're quite pleased with these desks.

The desk is very sturdy, very functional, and looks great! The slides work well. The drawers take full advantage of the depth, but the slide could come out another 2-3 inches.Most of the assembly was straight forward enough and not difficult except the free-standing desk leg was challenging to line up the bolts thought the metal holes.Tip: Some of the holes are partially covered by material that should be pushed out of the way with a pen in order to line up the bolt. The instructions mention this as a possibility, but the easiest thing to is to poke out all the holes at the beginning to better see the size the hole is supposed to be.

This desk is sturdy, the right size ar, and really terrible assembly instructions. The drawers do not initially fit because the instructions led me astray - truly worthless. The instructions tell me when the drawers don't fit, I should assure that the drawers are sliding through the sliders - which they were. I had to call the manufacturer. The instructions were insufficiently explicit in this installation process and allowed me to incorrectly install them. I seriously considered sending the whole thing back bit I couldn't get all the parts back into the box to return it. I have now corrected the error but It is really frustrating and causes me to deeply consider if I ever want to use Amazon for anything that has to be assembled.

This is an excellent desk for my bedroom office. Assembly was quick and easy. Lost of spare hardware. The desk was well packed in two boxes. Assembly time was just over two hours, using hand tools. Fit and finish are quite nice. Overall I'm quite pleased with the desk.Pros: Inexpensive, easy assembly, better than average materials, looks niceCon: Keyboard drawer slides are good and strong, the brackets mounting them to the underside of the desktop are not.
