Very pretty design and convenient locking system. Good storage size, perfect for keeping collectibles safe.

Great as a storage toy
Brought for a 5 year old. He's enjoying storing toys in it. He has been warned that it isn't strong enough to climb/jump on. The interesting lock also went down well and its light enough for him to move around.

Somewhat lightweight for the job.
The wood is fairy flimsy but the storage is fine for paperwork etc.. overall the build is towards storing light items. It’s better than a cardboard box, I would suggest the sale price closer to £25 than £36.

A lovely chest which I'm sure will be treasured.
This was used initially for a treasure hunt and now will be used as a keepsake box. It's a beautiful chest and I'm sure will be used by my granddaughter for many years.

Good overall but pretty flimsy
Product is made with some pretty thin plywood like material. The overall aesthetic is good and my son was happy with it - but when it arrived the lock had an issue - screws were loose and it's stapled together with wood in places where it sticks out.Good for toy storage but pretty flimsy.

Absolutely love this!
Used as a prop in a LARP game. Really great, has LOTS of storage space, and was very easy to decorate the lid how I wanted it. More sturdy than I expected.

Dirty and poor quality- had to return
The media could not be loaded. I was really disappointed in this chest. I had bought it as a Christmas present but need to return it because it was really dirty and poor quality. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it looked like it had been stored for a long time in a damp environment. All the metal parts were rusted and it was dirty all over. The metal elements had some sort of black slimy dirt on them and my hands went black just handling it. I took a video showing my dirty finger after wiping it across one of the hinges but the review only allowed me to upload one video so I chose to upload the video that showed the lock was misaligned and zoomed in on the various rusty parts.I loved the design of the box and if there were only minor issues, I would’ve kept it. However, I was specifically looking for a small decorative chest that could lock but it was such poor quality and very dirty.
