1994 Silver Proof bank of England Tercentenary £2 COA & Deluxe Boxed

In 1994, to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of the Bank of England, released a Limited Issue Bank of England £2 Two Pound Silver Proof Coin. The 1994 bears a new commemorative design celebrating the Tercentenary of the Bank of England. The Royal Charter creating the Bank of England was sealed on 27 July 1694 and the Bank opened for business shortly afterwards. These coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
